Creepy Carnival Slot Review
I think Carnivals are pretty creepy as is, they don’t need any low budget horror energy in the mix. I’m thoroughly scared when the show is targeted at small children, so needless to say this slot has given me the heebie-jeebies. The ringmaster’s eyes alone are going to keep me up the whole night, and don’t even get me started on that clown. I guess these kooky visuals add another thrill factor to the already chilling prospect that you might end up losing some money.
Creepy Carnival is a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot powered by software from Nolimit City. Symbols include killer clowns, vampiric ringmasters, creepy cymbal-smashing monkeys, dangerous strong men, ghostly bears, and royal values from 10 to A. The Wild is represented by a mean looking tiger, and the Scatter is represented by a frightening fortune teller.
Controls are located below the reels and work as follows: Info, Sound, Bet +/-, Turbo Spin, Spin, Auto Play, Balance, and Settings.
So, what features can you expect from Creepy Carnival? Wild: All Wilds are sticky during respins.
There are a couple of awesome features here, so let’s take a closer look (although not too close, some of these wacky characters bite!): Respins: Winning symbols are respun for free, the first respin wins of a x2 multiplier and the 2nd respin wins on a x3 multiplier. Free Spins: Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters triggers 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively. 2 Scatters on any reel gives you an additional 3 free spins, and you’ll receive 20 extra paylines and a 5x win multiplier during this feature. Star Spin: Collect 13 high value symbols to enable your free star spin, during which 2 extra Wilds are added to your reels to give you better chances of winning!
Although extremely spooky, Creepy Carnival is still a pretty great slot. The graphics are truly something out of my wildest dreams (or nightmares), the sound effects are scary as all hell, and there’s gameplay on mobile, desktop, and tablet so you can play this game in the dead of the night, hiding underneath your duvet.
The max coin win is 300, but the huge number of multipliers should boost those quite nicely.
While Creepy Carnival might not be for the faint of heart, it treated this weathered old hag (yes, I’m talking about myself) pretty well. With respins, free spins, “star” spins, and sticky wilds, not to mention some good wins, this slot will keep you on your toes. Just try not to think about the killer clowns before bedtime - not a good idea.
