BitStarz Originals: Plinko Review

According to the eggheads, gravity is the weakest force on Earth. That, I dare say, is a bunch of crap. Go ahead – ask any 60-year-old if they think their pendulous gonads or sagging bosom or ass has little to no effect!

Gravity is a bastard, but it can be stupendously beneficial and entertaining under the right circumstances. It does make roller coasters a helluva fun time, and it even works its magic on casino games.

And with that, allow me to introduce Plink, a BitStarz Originals game.

Gameplay

Plinko is a modern take on a game that featured on the American show The Price is Right. When you start this game up, you’ll see a triangle formation with many boxes underneath. These boxes contain different multipliers and they’re mirrored on either side of the middle of the pyramid.

The triangle is made up of pins so when you start, a ball gets released from the top and pin-balls its way to the bottom. Whichever box you land on, is what you win.

You’ve got the option to play it manually, or you can set it to AUTO and let the software do all the manual labor for you. If you choose the latter, you can set limits when you reach a certain number of wins or tell the system what to do on either a win or loss (like increasing or decreasing your bet).

You’ve also got the ability to choose if you wanna play low, medium, or high risk. Changing this means the multiplier values in the boxes also change accordingly.

The next thing you can customize is the number of rows the pins appear on, and lastly, how many bets you would like to place. In manual mode, the latter falls away.

Interestingly, you’ll see in the Rules that the game is tilt protected. Put another way, you could nudge the screen to try to get a favorable result. Who would’ve thought that gravity would play a part in a digital game such as this?

The most you can win in this game is 100,000 with a 1,000x multiplier when you play the most challenging setting and 16 lines.

Performance

It was all smooth sailing with BitStarz originals Plinko. I didn’t pick up any loading, stuttering, or gameplay issues.

Max Win

The max win for Plinko is €100,000.

Conclusion

Plinko is a fun game to play, no matter how you slice it. Watching that ball bounce off the pins and make its way to the far left or right box will have your heart in your throat. And your lunch in your mouth when it veers off course at the last moment. It happens.

With such a stripped-down looking game as this one, what it does is focus your attention on what’s happening, rather than on the peripheral stuff that tends to take you away from the action.

Yes, I must confess I do likes me some Plinko and there’s nothing wrong with this version. Plus, it’s provably fair so what more could you ask for?
