Wolf Quest Slot Review
Wolves really freak me out, man. Not because of any connotations with werewolves, or their pack mentalities, or their predatory ways. No, I just don’t much enjoy the fact that they’re what our domestic dogs would have been like had we not inbred them to the point of being pugs. Rotund, googly-eyed yappers with mold in their skin folds. They might be the grossest creatures on earth, but it's not their fault at all. Instead, its humanity’s failure and we need to own up to that.
Wolf Quest is a 5-reel, 50-payline video slot powered by software from GameArt. This one is set around wolves, and what I assume is Native American culture (I’m not from the USA, and this slot is kind of vague so bear with me here). Symbols include a totem pole, an owl, wolves, an eagle, a campfire, and playing cards from 9 to Ace. The Wild is represented by a wolf howling at the moon, while a wolf paw symbol acts as the Scatter.
GameArt controls don’t really change, so if you’ve played one of their slots before you should be good to go. If not, stay tuned. From left to right you can find Settings, Paytable (which shows how much the symbols are worth), Bet Per Line (from 0.10 to 1), Auto Play (which will spin the reels for you), Spin, Balance, Total Bet, and Win Display.
So, what features does Wolf Quest offer? Gamble: To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed. Wild: Substitutes for all symbols except Scatter.
The Bonus Feature is triggered when 3 or more Wolf Paw Scatters lands on reel 1 or 2. Should 3 Scatters land, 10 Free Spins will be awarded. After each spin, the Wild symbol is added to reels 2-5 until the bonus feature ends. The Free Spin feature can be re-triggered during the Free Spin round, awarding 5 additional Free Spins.
Wolf Quest offers an excellent performance. The features are exciting, the graphics are truly stunning, and the soundtrack will transport you straight to the Great Plains. It’s also available on any device, but I preferred it on my tablet over my laptop or cell phone.
Overall, Wolf Quest is another great offering from GameArt. It has everything you could want in a slot and more, and you can’t fault it for that. Wolves or no wolves, this game is still one to watch out for. So give it a spin and see for yourself.
