As all of us know, Chunjie is the annual festival marking the Chinese New Year. I'm just messing with you – I had no idea what it was and had to Google it!
Apparently, this festival can last up to 3 days and normally involves exchanging gifts and fireworks. Where can I sign up?

Anyway, when starting Chunjie, I was relaxed by the atmosphere. The celebration was understated and dignified. I banished my daydreams of exiling my mother-in-law and began the game…

Gameplay

Chunjie is a relatively low volatility slot with 5 reels and 38 paylines.
The symbols are headed up by a wild logo which substitutes for all except the scatter symbol, which is a dragon. The standard symbols are 9-Ace in Chinese lettering, fish, fireworks, mandarin and gold bowls.

Performance

The graphics are slightly retro while the sound effects and music add a distinct flavor to the theme. I tested this slot on a few devices, and it shone through brilliantly on all.

Conclusion

I would love to say that the theme of Chunjie won me over, but, while it was charming, the multipliers sealed the deal for me. Most of the time I sat there with my eyes the size of saucers as my wins multiplied by massive amounts. It's tough to write a bad review after that!
