In 2022, we decided to shake things up at BitStarz…
The King of the Ocean Welcomes You In Neptune’s Champions Slot
Neptune, the Roman god and not Ariel’s father, is known as the god of the ocean. Apparently, his influence didn’t end at the shoreline, though. According to some poorly-sourced blog posts, he was also the god of earthquakes and, most bizarrely, horses—and not seahorses, either—regular old horses.

Hit it, Sebastian!
In the Neptune’s Champions slot’s base game, the most prominent bonus feature is the multiplier meters above the reels. The color of each meter is associated with a set of three similarly colored symbols on the reels. Any winning combinations will be added to the multiplier meter that corresponds with the color of the symbol involved in the combination.
Every 40 points contributed to a multiplier meter will increase its multiplier value by 1x. Any winning combination that includes the jackpot symbol will receive the multiplier value associated with its specific color. The triggered meter will then be reset.
The appearance of three, four, or five Bonus symbols on the reels will trigger a round of the slot’s free spins feature, awarding 7, 12, and 20 free spins, respectively.
During a round of free spins, the multiplier meters will change slightly, with contributing symbols being reduced to two for each multiplier meter. Each meter will be set to a base value of 2x, with each pearl symbol collected during base game play adding another 1x multiplier to each meter. Additionally, at the start of each spin, the meters have a chance to increase by 1x randomly. As in the base game, the multiplier values are applied to wins that include the jackpot symbol.
Is Neptune’s Champions slot worth a trip to the ocean floor?
Neptune’s Champions slot has an unusually high minimum bet of $0.40, which is a rarity amongst most modern slots. Betting tops out at $80 a spin, which gives a shot at $320,000 in winnings thanks to the 4,000x max multiplier. The slot’s medium volatility does mean that there will be a balance between small, consistent wins and the rare big wins. Naptine’s Champions slot offers an RTP of 96%.
I really think there’s a great game hidden within Neptune’s Champions slot. There has just been a lack of editing and restraint when it comes to the graphics and the complexity of the bonus features. Wish is a shame. There are some great elements there, but the total package doesn’t come together in a way that makes me want to come back again and again. I give Neptune’s Champions slot a six out of ten.
