4 Symbols Slot Review
So this must be my number 2000 review that has a Chinese Culture theme and while I, like everyone in the world, have the greatest respect for the incredible culture, designers please come up some new ideas! This theme is so tried and tested that I almost feel the urge to cut and paste an old review. I really don’t think anyone will notice. Although the theme did remind me of a friend of mine who like the Chinese are steeped in superstition. One time in New York it took us 2 hours to walk from our hotel to the restaurant because he would not stand only cracks. He looked like a little girl playing hopscotch.
When this slot landed on my desk it was quite ambiguous and I must say I would never have tied it to the Chinese theme. Then I logged in and there it was. That old theme. I must say the dragons are beautifully animated in this GameArt offering and the other symbols well suited to the theme. The lack of music kind of didn’t carry through to match the magnificent beasts that are those dragon symbols. As with everything Chinese it works on all technology
GameArt presents its 5 Reel, 25 Payline format with medium volatility in the form of this Chinese Dragon theme.
Lower paying symbols are represented by Chinese font letters and the medium paying symbols are the beautifully embellish Dragons and a Tiger.
The most significant of the symbols are the Wild, represented by the Sun/Moon face. This symbol can replace all symbols except the scatter which is the YingYang symbol.
The controls are not nearly as embellished as the symbols on the reels which allows the player to focus on the Chinese New Year before their Eyes. However they are very practical and easy to use even for beginners.
The control panel includes Paytable, Bet Per Line, Autoplay, Play, Balance, Total Bet and Win. One thing I enjoy about all GameArt games is their functionality.
The Scatter symbol which is YingYang triggers the Free Spin feature if you land 3 or more on the reels. The Scatter does not appear on the reels during the Free Spin feature.
There are no exceptional extra features other than the Free Spin rounds.
The maximum win is 12 500 coins.
There was nothing terrible or fantastic about this game. It kind of went along without any hitches or highlights. The beautifully present Dragons I feel could have been housed in a more splendiferous setting. However there were no problems with the play and winnings were average.
If you are looking for a simple game, especially as a beginner, then this game is for you. If you are the player who likes to be spun around and have features thrown at you maybe not. Pleasant enough though
