I’ve always had a massive crush on Jodie Foster, ever since her role in Contact. Naturally, I was quite excited when I first read the name of this slot. Hurrah! Finally, a Contact-themed game - Play’n Go had really pulled through for me this time. Alas, I was mistaken. There are no dead dads on beaches and alien maths in this slot, but to be fair I think the title was misleading. I guess I’ll just have to continue to foster hope that one day a real Contact-themed slot will be created.
Gameplay
Contact is a 5x7 grid game, with zero paylines, powered by software from Play'n Go. Into mild cannibalism and human sacrifice? You’re in luck! This slot is Mayan-themed, so it’s up to you to get down to the core of the ancient civilization. Symbols include fossils of turtles, snakes, monkeys, jaguars, and birds, as well as Mayan god masks in red, purple, green and gold-green. There are no Wilds or Scatters.

So, what features can you expect from Contact?
Wins are formed when you land 5 or more matching symbols in a cluster, either vertically and/or horizontally. When you land a cluster it will stay in place, with non-winning symbols removed and the winning ones cascading down to become sticky. New symbols will form on top of them to potentially grow your cluster or create new ones. This carries on until there are no new wins.
Unique Features
Contact is seriously chock-a-block full of features. Filling the 2nd, 4th, or 6th row with winning symbols will trigger respective multiplier of x2, x3 or x4. If you build winning clusters to the top row, you’ll activate the Bonus Round! Fill the whole of the grid with winning symbols and trigger the Super Bonus Round.

This is a highly ambitious slot from Play’n Go, that really pays off. The graphics are outstanding, the soundtrack is super intense, and gameplay is available on tablet, mobile, and desktop.
