Pharaoh’s Reign Slot Review

It may seem like a strange question, but did you know that mummies have had some peculiar uses in the past? Yeah, man! It came as a surprise to me too, but one of those uses was as paint pigment!

I kid you not.

Around the 16th century, a popular pigment choice among European artists was known as mummy brown and it was made from ground-up mummies!

Artists such as Eugene Delacroix, Sir William Beechey, and Edward Burne-Jones used the stuff. To be fair though, Burne-Jones had no idea what it was and as soon as he found out, he held a funeral in his back garden for the tube of paint in question!

On that bizarre note, let’s immerse ourselves in the Egyptian-themed game Pharaoh’s reign slot from Kalamba.

Gameplay

You’ll find the 5x3 grid nestled inside an elaborately designed pyramid. In the background – which you won’t see until you go into the Info page – you’ll see two massive statues standing on podiums, 2 decorated pillars, some foliage poking about, and 2 little Anubis statues in the front.

The design is super rich and filled with detail. Clearly, a lot of time and effort went into making this game and it was well worth it, as it looks spectacular.

In true Kalamba style, you’ll see the HyperBonus tab at the bottom left, and the toggles and buttons on the right. It’s the usual clean, intuitive layout that makes it an excellent option for playing on your mobile phone or tablet.

The game’s RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
is a wonderful 97.41% however, the bet limits are quite restricted and range from €0.20 to €10. Also low is the max win, which comes in at just €30,000. Balancing that out is a 3,000x multiplier combined with a high volatility.

As for my experience playing this game, I set the bet to maximum and had a modicum of luck but nothing to brag about. I did rack up the odd 2x booster – you’ll need a Wild that’s involved in a win to qualify for that.

Then I decided to make use of the HyperBonus feature.

I went for the 20 Free Spins option, which cost 9,412.50 credits. I won an additional 60 Free Spins during this feature, which brought my total to 80! And, I hit a Cashpot win that was worth 10,000 credits.

In the end, I made a total of 23,552.50! I’d say that was well worth the investment!

That was my experience, which may differ to yours. The rule of thumb is 15 spins = 124x your bet, and 20 spins = 188.25x your bet.

Features

Let’s begin with the Wild. These symbols multiply your win, where they substitute for another symbol in a winning combination. You’re looking at 2x in the base game, as well as during the Free Spins round.

If you grab a win that’s made up only of Wilds, then these multipliers don’t apply. Wilds that land during the Free Spin round turn into either Cashpot or K-Cash symbols.

Landing 3 or more Bonus symbols anywhere during the base game gets you 10 Free Spins. If you pull another 3+ Bonus symbols, you’ll get an additional 10 Free Spins.

Cashpot symbol come about when a Wild gets transformed into one of these little green things. In that case, you’ll see the meter at the top increase by 1.

At the end of the Free Spins round, you’ll get a prize that is based on the number of accumulated Cashpots, and that could be a whopping 1,000x your stake!

Alternatively, your Wild could become a K-Cash symbol. When that happens, the symbol reveals an amount that is added to your booty.

This brings us to the HyperBonus feature I mentioned earlier. This option comes about after every spin, and you can choose which one you want based on the amount you’re comfortable spending. The cheaper option gets you 10 Free Spins, while the more expensive one gets you 20.

Performance

I had no issues playing this game on any device or browser. It’s all good in the hood with this one.

Max Win

The max win for Pharaoh’s Reign slot is only €30,000… but I’ll take it.

Conclusion

This game looks good, so it’s not a big ask to spend some time spinning the reels here. During the base game, it can get a little slow, but there are enough features to keep you occupied and potentially make some decent money, as I found out.

The HyperBonus feature means you don’t have to wait all day to get in on the Free Spins action, but it will cost you. Not that this is anything new – many games do the same thing.

Once the Free Spins feature has been unlocked, it means you can make use of those K-Cash and Cashpot mechanisms and that’s where it becomes a lot of fun.

It’s a pity the top prize isn’t very good, and while I have made an issue of this in other games, those games didn’t offer much in the way of features. So, I’m less prone to complaining about it with Pharaoh’s Reign slot.

If you want to land a big score worth plenty, you won’t find it here. But you can make some money – there’s no doubt about that. And the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. means that you shouldn’t have to plug crazy amounts into the game while you chase those wins.

Pharaoh’s Reign slot is a decent option if you’re looking for either an Egyptian-themed game, or something with cool features that aren’t too difficult to get your head around.
