Growing up my favourite game was snakes and ladders, closely followed by Pac Man and of course Twister. I remember having hours and hours of fun with my friends. To this day, I can’t see one of those classics without growing a melancholic grin across my face. Nothing compares to that feeling of taking out the twister mat, even if I just do it as a drinking game with girlfriends now. If you ever had a childhood classic that you loved then Turning Totems by Thunderkick is the game for you, it’s a feel-good, crowd-pleaser.
Game Play
Turning Totems is a 5 reel, 4 rows, 11 payline video slot by Thunderkick.
The symbols appear randomly across the poles and you can land more than one symbol at any one pole at a time. To win you’ll need to land at least six of the same symbol anywhere across the poles (much like a scatter symbol). Landing six will give you the minimum win amount, however, you could in theory land the same symbol 15 times and this is where the largest pay-outs happen. With no win-lines as such, you’ll simply have a total stake for the spin, which you can choose.
The pink, somewhat manic looking symbol is the highest paying, giving you 1,204x your total stake for landing all fifteen symbols. The orange, fierce-looking one wins you 254x and the red one that looks a little ‘angry birds’ wins you 72x. The green and blue symbols make up the winning symbols. There are however also four ‘no win’ symbols, each of these brown with a basic pattern and any number of these won’t gain you a win.

Unique Features
The Wild symbol in the game is a sleeping totem. Once you activate it, it can substitute for all the symbols in the game to form a winning game, except for the Thunder Snake symbol.
Thunder Snake is the bonus symbol. When it lands on the reels, the thunder will strike it, and the reels will turn into Thunder reels for the rest of the game round. All Sleeping Wilds on a Thunder Reel will turn into wilds, and a thunder reel activation will grant you a re-spin, unless it results in a bonus game.
You need to land 3 or more thunder reels to get the Bonus game triggered. Once triggered, you will be awarded with 5 free spins. All active thunder reels will remain as such until the bonus game
