Have You Tried Pachinko?

In April last year, we released our first batch of in-house developed games, which we called BitStarz Originals. Each BitStarz Originals game is designed to be light with lightning-fast load times, making them a perfect option for easy gaming sessions on your mobile device. No fancy graphics, just pure, exhilarating entertainment.

The first batch of games we released included Plinko, Blackjack, Crash, and Dice. Then we added Mines to the list earlier this year. This week, we’ve added one more with the release of Pachinko, and we couldn’t be more excited.

So, what is Pachinko? Well, when you launch the game for the first time, it’ll seem completely different from anything you’ve ever seen before yet, at the same time, somewhat familiar. Think of it as the love child of a slot machine and a pinball machine with small silver metal balls as its currency.

Although the game is unfamiliar in the West, in Japan, Pachinko parlors are everywhere. They’re like sports betting shops in London or saunas in Helsinki. We wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and now it’s your turn. The Finnish were right about the saunas, and we’re pretty sure that millions of Japanese people are equally right about Pachinko.

Everything you need to know to start playing

Pachinko is all about balls. It’s normally about shiny silver balls, but we thought we’d change it up a bit, so our balls are yellow.

The more balls you have, the more you win. You’ll need to buy balls and then cash out when you have more balls than you started with. You can also cash out when you have fewer balls than you started with to try and mitigate your losses. If you run out of balls, then you’re going to have to buy more balls to keep playing. Now that you have the basics of the balls down, let’s look at it in a bit more detail.

The first step in placing your first Pachinko bet is to select a bet amount. Once you’ve entered your preferred bet amount, you can move on to purchasing some balls.

To purchase your first set of balls, you’ll need to select the number of balls that you would like to purchase. The game gives you the option to purchase 50, 100, or 200 balls. Once you’ve selected the number of balls that you would like to purchase, you can click the Buy button. Once that’s done, the Play button will become active.

Each time you press the Play button (you can also use the spacebar key), a ball will be flung out into the game area. The aim of the game is to get balls into one of the five Pocket Points baskets below or the single Jackpot basket above. The Pocket Points baskets will award an extra five balls every time you land a ball into one of them. If you manage to land a ball in the Jackpot basket, a single row three-reel slot will be spun, giving you the chance to win up to 1,000 balls.

The length of your game session is almost entirely up to you. Once you are satisfied with the profit you have accumulated, which can be viewed in the top right-hand corner of the game, you can press the Cashout button to claim your winnings. You can then purchase more balls and start again. Alternatively, if you think things aren’t going your way, you can choose to mitigate your losses and cash out without any profits. The final option is to just keep playing until the very last ball, hoping that you’ll get lucky and it will land in the Jackpot Pocket.
