Last Man Standing Wins in Battleground Royale Slot

2017 to 2020 was the golden age for battle royale titles from PUBG to Fortnite and Apex Legends! For a second there it seemed as if it was completely taking over the classic first-person shooter. Although the trend has largely died down, remnants are still leaking through. This is where PG Soft and their new Battleground Royale slot comes in. I would argue it’s two years too late but let’s see if it’s any good.

Time to take aim at some wins

Although it’s based on a video game, you won’t need to worry about figuring out which button is shoot and why your character keeps jumping instead of taking the shot! In Battleground Royale slot all you need to do is click the spin button and sit back and relax as the slot takes aim at wins for you.

During base gameplay, the slot will offer cascading wins. This means that symbols involved in winning combinations will disappear with new symbols dropping in to fill the reels giving you a shot at another win. Battleground Royale slot takes this feature a step further by increasing a multiplier by one with each cascading win. The multiplier is reset with each new spin in the base game.

Then there’s the transformation feature which is triggered randomly on any spin. Once it is activated all matching symbols on the reels will turn wild for that spin. If additional matching symbols drop in thanks to the cascading wins feature, they will also be transformed into wilds to complete winning combinations.

If you’re looking for big wins, however, you’re going to need to grab three or more scatter symbols to unlock a round of eight free spins. During a round of free spins, the transformation feature will be triggered on each and every spin. Additionally, the global multiplier won’t be reset at the beginning of each spin allowing it to grow larger and larger throughout your round of free spins.

Does Battleground Royale slot hit the bullseye?

Battleground Royale slot lives up to the hype. The slot offers some great graphics that really embody the games it’s based on and some really exciting features to ensure the gameplay doesn’t let the imagery down.

Things also look great when you look at the slot’s stats. It offers a respectable 96.75% RTP with medium volatility. This gives it a nice balance between offering big wins and consistent wins. The €169,000 jackpot is also not too bad at all. It does, however, suffer from a fairly mediocre 1,690x max multiplier which forces you to bet at €100 a spin for a shot at the big wins.

If you’re looking for a few other hot slots from PG Soft to take aim at, I recommend taking a shot at Farm Invaders and Hood vs Wolf.
