No Dying from Dysentery in the Revolvero Slot
The Oregon Trail taught us many valuable lessons, chief among them that the Wild West was not, in fact, a vibe. It was mostly broken wheels, questionable meat, and a sudden death screen you didn’t see coming. Cowboying looked great in theory, but in practice it involved long odds and very little mercy.
With its new Revolvero slot, the team at Red Tiger left the harsher realities of cowboy life to the historians and focused instead on the more entertaining side of the frontier.
Reach for sky!
The Revolvero slot features 20 paylines spread across five reels. With a maximum multiplier of 15,000x, you have the potential to win up to $225,000 when betting at the top end of the scale, which is $15 per spin. The slot also supports bets as low as $0.10 per spin.
With high volatility, the gameplay offers fewer small, regular wins and instead focuses on rarer, higher-value payouts. The slot has an RTP of 94.05%.
During gameplay, the Showdown feature uses two Gunslinger rows positioned above and below the main reels. Only Gunslinger symbols or empty spaces can appear in these rows, and each Gunslinger holds a randomly assigned number of wilds, up to a maximum of 50.
When Gunslingers land both above and below the same reel, a Showdown is triggered. One of the Gunslingers is shot and drops the wilds it holds onto random reel positions. If a wild lands on top of another wild, its multiplier is doubled. That multiplier applies to all wins in which the wild is involved.
The Free Spins feature is triggered when three scatter symbols land on the leftmost, centre, and rightmost reels, awarding you five free spins. Each additional scatter that appears during the round grants one extra free spin.
Landing a super scatter during free spins upgrades all remaining free spins to super free spins. During both free spins and super free spins, any wilds created by the Showdown feature remain locked on the reels for the entire duration of the bonus round.
Super Free Spins can also be triggered directly in the base game. This happens when a super scatter lands on the leftmost reel together with two standard scatters, awarding you five super free spins. Scatters cannot land during this feature.
While super free spins are active, Gunslingers occupy all five positions of the Gunslinger row above the reels. At least one Showdown is guaranteed to trigger on every spin.
If you’re looking to just purchase a round of the slot’s free spins features, the Feature Buy option gives you three options. You can trigger a Showdown for 15x your bet, buy some free spins at 100x your bet, or go for the big one and grab some super free spins for 500x your bet.
Is the Revolvero slot the cowboy-themed game you’ve be looking for?
There is no shortage of Wild West and cowboy-themed slots, so to make a mark in this niche, a game has to bring something genuinely distinctive. Hacksaw’s 2 Wild 2 Die comes to mind as an example of excellent execution, combining striking visuals with inventive, theme-driven features.
While the Revolvero slot doesn’t completely let the team down, it also doesn’t quite feel special. The slot offers fun graphics and animations, and its Showdown feature is genuinely interesting, but I’m not convinced that it does enough to keep me coming back. Overall, I’d give the slot an eight out of ten.
If you’re looking for a few Red Tiger slots that I would recommend, try out Bloody Murder and Cyber Attack.
