Magic of the Ring Deluxe Slot Review
Gandalf wannabe is back in ultra 3D animation in the Magic of the Ring Deluxe. But as all Deluxe versions go, they are only a more improved design version as their original. So think of when New Year comes and you have all this New Year New Me lies that you tell yourself but, the second day of January has barely passed and you are stuffing your face with junk food trying to nurse your hangover from the night before. However, unlike the “new you” this slot has actually made great improvements to it’s appearance with an added Unique Gamble Feature and volatility setting.
Magic of the Ring Deluxe is a 5x3 reel, 20 payline video slot powered by Wazdansoftware. Symbols include Royal card suits (10-A), an axe and shield symbol, a dragon, a castle and a Wizard symbol. The only special symbol is the Magic Ring itself that acts as a wild, paid scatter and also triggers the Free Spins Feature with book-style bonus symbol. There is also a unique Gamble Feature and volatility setting button. More detail will be given in the features section.
The game controls are located at the bottom of the screen. Starting from left to right is the number of lines window, the adjustable coin value window, cash bet window, autoplay button, spin button, max bet button, balance window, win window, fast play mode button and a volatility setting button. After a win you will notice a stacked coins x2 icon and a hand holding a coin icon appear on the spin button. These give you the option to either gamble your winnings to double it or to credit your win and continue to play.
Magic of the Ring Deluxe consists of 3 features namely the Magic Ring symbol as a wild and scatter and the unique Gamble Feature.
Land the Magic Ring in a winning combination and it acts as a wild substituting for all symbols except for the bonus symbol during the Free Spins Feature.
As a scatter, the Magic Ring symbol’s pay is added to the winnings. Land between 3 and 5 scatters to be awarded with 10 Free Spins. Before the Free Spins Feature commences, you will be given a randomly selected bonus symbol. When your given bonus symbol lands on the reels it will expand to improve your winnings, it is the typical book-style Free Spins mechanic used here.
As mentioned in the controls, when you win in the base game you have the option of gambling your win. If you choose to do so by clicking the stacked coins x2 icon that appears on the spin button after your win, you are taken to the Gamble Feature screen. Here you will have to choose between 2 treasure chests on the left and right hand side of the wizard. If you choose the correct treasure chest the wizard will open the chest and reveal treasure inside it doubling your win. If you choose incorrectly the treasure chest will be empty and you forfeit your win. If you win you can continue the feature for 7 rounds.
Magic of the Ring Deluxe slightly improved its innovation thanks to the Unique Gamble feature but still retains the exact same game play as the original. The graphics are excellent with fantastic 3D animation. The RTP is at 96.39% with varied volatility.
The max coin win is 25000
Magic of the Ring is a stunning improvement in terms of the design and effects compared to the original game. It’s a pity that the overused book-style mechanic has been used for the Free Spins Feature but at least there is the addition of the Unique Gamble Feature. We could perhaps all take a page out of the wizard’s book of spells to improve ourselves but then again, we don’t have magic ability to make that process easier.
