The game is built around cascading wins which remove symbols involved in winning combinations and allow new symbols to fall into their place. This gives you multiple chances to win from a single spin. Gronk’s Gems slot supercharges this feature with charged symbols.
When a symbol is removed as part of a winning combination all instances of that symbol on the reels not involved in the winning combination will become charged. During cascading wins, there’s a chance that you’ll receive an epic gem. If this happens all the charged symbols on the reels will transform into the highest-paying charged symbol. Additionally, the epic gem will count as four symbols itself ensuring that you only need a single charged symbol to trigger a winning combination. Charged symbols are reset following the conclusion of each spin.
Gronk’s Gems slot has two different bonus games. The Gronk’s Treasure bonus game is triggered by the appearance of three Gronk bust symbols on the reels. Once triggered, you will receive 10 free spins during which you are more likely to receive Epic Gem symbols. The Gem Hoarder bonus game is triggered by the appearance of three or more Gem Bag symbols on the reels. Once triggered, a global multiplier will be activated that will increase by 1x with each cascading win and applied to every winning combination.

Gronk’s Gems slot looks fantastic. The fully animated full-length Gronk figure is really well done and although it is a little gimmicky, it was part of the reason that I came back to the slot several times. It’s not all looks, either.
