I saw a reel the other day, asking a guy if his wife and mother were being attacked by a shark – who would he save…
Then this like heroic music started in the next scene, of him holding the shark. Hey, I guess sharks can be less volatile than family right?
So of course I was first in line to open Deep Sea Frenzy slot the second it landed on BitStarz. It actually made me laugh all over again.
Except, these sharks are cartoons with huge grins. I’d probably choose them too. Anyway, let’s see if they’re any good at making chicken casserole.
Welcome to the Shark Tank
Before anyone gets eaten, let me introduce the people responsible. Pragmatic Play built this one, and I’m pretty sure someone in that office binged a whole season of nature documentaries and decided every fish on Earth deserved teeth. You get a 5×4 grid with 50 paylines, all of it sitting deep underwater with sunlight streaming through bright blue water and little orange fish darting around the edges.
The main man is a big purple-and-white shark with way too many teeth. Seriously, count them. I gave up at twenty.
Now, the stuff you actually came for. RTP is 96.52%, volatility is Medium, and the max win goes all the way up to $320,000. Respect.
Dinner Is Served on Reel Five
So here’s how feeding time works. Shark money symbols swim onto reels 1 to 4 carrying random values of up to 200x each. Over on reel 5, Collect symbols show up, and they can bring multipliers of up to 5x with them.
Get eight or more money symbols on screen together with a Collect, and it scoops up their combined value, boosted by any multiplier that tagged along. Then it kicks you straight into Free Spins. Very efficient. Very hungry.
Oh, and if waiting around isn’t your thing, the Bonus Buy is priced at 170x. There’s an Ante Bet too, at 1.6x.
Twelve Spins Deep
Now for the good bit. The bonus round opens with 5 Free Spins, which doesn’t sound like much until you meet the +1 Spin Collect symbol. If it shows up when the feature triggers, or lands while it’s running, you get an extra spin added to the pile. Gotta have those.
During Free Spins, every money symbol that lands alongside a Collect gets paid out. Better still, those money symbol values keep climbing with every spin, all the way up to 200x by the twelfth one.
Come On In, the Water’s Fine
Look, I’m not saying this will turn you into a shark person. But I did spend a good chunk of my morning staring at a grinning cartoon fish on Deep Sea Frenzy slot, and I’m weirdly okay with it.
Money symbols on reels 1 to 4, Collect symbols on reel 5, Free Spins that keep getting bigger as they go. It’s all ready and waiting for you at BitStarz right now. So pull on your flippers, jump in and go find out what’s lurking at the bottom of the reels!
