The slot features Instant Win Pumpkin symbols and Collector Vault symbols. Pumpkin symbols only appear on reels one and three, while Collector symbols land exclusively on the middle reel.

If a Pumpkin symbol lands on the same spin as a Collector symbol, you’ll be awarded the instant win value. However, if two Pumpkin symbols appear with a Collector symbol, the slot’s Hold and Win feature will be triggered.

Is the Grinning Harvest slot spooky or silly?

This may be nitpicking, but the style of the skull pumpkin head that appears above the reels during a round of the Hold and Win feature in the Grinning Harvest slot is so jarring. It doesn’t feel like it fits with the rest of the slot.

And that’s really sad, because the base game version is fantastic, with some great animation that lights up the interior for a nice spooky vibe. It’s just a weird choice. All in all, though, it’s a solid little slot. I have the Grinning Harvest slot a seven out of ten.
