There is no shortage of slots that use Thor, Odin, Loki, and Norse mythology in general as a theme. So, standing out in the crowd is always challenging. In my opinion, the Second Thunder slot manages to stand out and then some. The gloss that is generally present in these games is gone, replaced by this gritty, battle-hardened aesthetic that really brings the genre to a more mature level. The animations are great, and the Thor apparition that appears during free spins was a genuinely cool addition.

Over and above the aesthetic, the feature set also has a lot to like about it, especially the Wild Field feature, which was a really cool idea. While the rating really makes little sense, I’m giving the Second Thunder slot one of my rare eleven out of tens.
