Tramp Day Trueways Slot: Does a Wierd Pitch Ruin a Slot?

According to the official BGaming page, the Tramp Day Trueways slot lets players “walk a mile in an ordinary tramp’s shoes and experience his life.” Which, let’s be honest, is a pretty weird pitch for a slot. And I’m not entirely sure the team at BGaming behind it actually knows what a tramp is.

Just look at the imagery. The guy looks less like someone down on his luck and more like a tech bro who sold his company and now roams the streets of LA in designer clothes made to look like they came off the back of a tramp. That being said, I’m going to try to approach this with an open mind.

A tramp’s day out

Betting on the Tramp Day Trueways slot from BGaming starts at just $0.10, with a maximum limit of $60. If you’re betting at the upper limit, you could win up to $300,000, thanks to the 5,000x maximum multiplier. The slot has very high volatility, meaning wins can be rare but potentially massive. The RTP is 96.7%.

Like most others of its kind, the slot’s wild symbol substitutes for all other paying symbols to complete or boost winning combinations. In the Tramp Day Trueways slot, wilds get an upgrade during the free spins round, with each one carrying a 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier that applies to any winning combination they’re part of. Wild symbols only appear on reels two to five.

The appearance of four or more money-stuffed briefcase scatter symbols triggers a round of the slot’s free spins feature. The number of free spins awarded depends on how many scatter symbols trigger the feature, with 4, 5, and 6 symbols awarding 12, 15, and 20 free spins, respectively.

In addition to traditional triggering, the Tramp Day Trueways slot also gives you the option to buy a round of free spins for 100x your bet amount.

The slot’s Coin Respin feature, essentially a Hold & Win, is triggered with six or more instant-win coin symbols. During this feature, the triggering coins are locked in place while the remaining reels spin for a shot at landing more coins. You’ll get three spins to do so. Each time you land an additional coin, the spin count resets to three. If not, the round ends. There’s also a chance to land mini, major, or mega jackpot amounts during the Coin Respin feature.

Much like the free spins feature, Tramp Day Trueways also lets you buy a round of the Coin Respin feature for 100x your bet.

Is the Tramp Day Trueways slot worth a night on the street?

To reiterate what I said in the introduction, BGaming doesn’t seem to know the first thing about tramps. If they’d called this one Jobless Tech Bro, I’d have been all in. But the title, mixed with the odd pitch on the provider’s website, just makes the whole thing feel a bit off.

That said, the bonus features are solid, the gameplay’s fun, and the 5,000x max multiplier doesn’t hurt. If you’re looking for a slot to enjoy without thinking too hard, the Tramp Day Trueways slot might be right up your alley. I’m giving it a six out of ten.
