I've played Monopoly plenty, but I didn't know the origin story. The game was invented by a feminist writer called Lizzie Magie, who came up with it as a teaching tool meant to warn Americans about greedy monopolists. 🏠
Then one day, along came a broke salesman named Charles Darrow. This asshole sold it to Parker Brothers as his own invention and became a millionaire 💰. Magie, on the other hand, made around $500 and zero royalties.

Gameplay
Evolution has built a super impressive set for this game: a live host runs the show, while a larger-than-life Mr. Monopoly loiters like a co-host. The whole thing looks expensive, and I mean that as a compliment.
Each round, you buy up to 4 cards. Every card is a 5x5 grid of numbers between 1 and 60, and you can flip each one between Chance and Free Space before betting closes.
Free Space cards come with the center square already stamped, which makes lines easier to finish, and their lines pay 2x to 39x.
Chance cards skip the freebie but guarantee a multiplier in the center, and their lines pay 2x to 199x. A winning card with no multipliers pays a flat 3x, and extra lines stack on top of each other.
Once betting closes, Mr. Monopoly stamps random daubs and multipliers onto the cards (a daub counts as a drawn number). Then the machine fires out 20 of the 60 balls, matching numbers get marked off, and any completed line pays.

Two side bets feed the Bonus Game. The 3 Rolls spot covers 3 numbers and the 5 Rolls spot covers 4. If all of them show up among the 20 balls, the bet wins and the Bonus Game kicks off after the draw.
You can play these with or without any cards in hand.
The action moves to a 3D Monopoly board, where Mr. Monopoly strolls square to square while 2 dice decide his pace (3 rolls or 5, depending on which bet you won). Whatever he lands on, you collect.
Before he sets off, houses and hotels get built on random properties, which pushes their prizes anywhere from 1x to 500x. Rolling doubles earns an extra roll, and passing GO doubles every prize from that point on.

Performance
This game is super intensive, in as much as it's a live game/video stream. There’s a lot of bandwidth-hungry stuff going on.
Now, the video quality wasn't amazing (and it's definitely not my line speed, because I have quite a kick-ass setup in my office), but it was enough to do the job.

Pair the max multiplier of 199x with the top bet of $2,000 and you can scoop the max win, which is capped at $238,000. The smallest bet you can place is $0.10.
Conclusion
The game's money lives on the Chance cards. Free Space cards are the slow lane (easier lines, smaller payouts), while a Chance card with stacked multipliers is the only realistic road to a serious payday.

And for once I can't complain about the risk-versus-payout balance, because you set it yourself; every card choice and side bet moves the dial.
