I live in Hungary and as far as I can tell, the law is still holding up. I mean, there are some women here who could’ve made a pact with the Devil 😈, such is their power over men, but I ain’t seen one choosing a broomstick over Wizz Air. ✈️

Kálmán never had to play 3 Pots of Potions Instant Blitz from Gaming Corps, though. Here the witches skipped the trial altogether and went straight to work, leaving 3 cauldrons in a haunted forest.

Gameplay

Gaming Corps has dumped us in a dark green forest of bare trees, with a castle sulking in the mist behind them.

But that's not the strangest part. You'll notice that the screen is divided into three sections: the middle one contains three pots and then there are multiplier meters on the left ,and the regular grid with symbols to the right.

This is a 7x9 Instant Win game where you set your bet value, buy a card and get 6 game rounds for your bucks. Each round starts when you press the ROUND button and new symbols drop onto the grid.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

Collect 10 of the same symbol and it pays its prize, and every win lands in the Prize Pot. Overflow isn't wasted either: if more than 10 would be collected, the prize pays and the leftovers count toward the next one.

At the bottom of the paytable, 10 Spell Book symbols pay 1x, Candles pay 2x, the Witch Hat pays 3x, and Crystals pay 5x. The Crystal Ball pays 10x and the Raven 20x. Finally, the Black Cat pays 40x and the Purple Gem pays 100x.

There are also jackpots (I’ll describe how you can win them below): Mini 10x, Minor 25x, Maxi 50x, Major 100x, Mega 250x, and Grand 1,000x.

Features

HOT ZONE:

You don't trigger this feature. At the start of every round, once the new symbols have cascaded in, the Hot Zone may appear as a magenta-bordered square on the grid, sized 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4.

Both regular symbols and clusters inside the zone get collected to their meters. Singles count, no cluster of 3 needed, so a 4x4 zone is 16 cells of collecting for free.

POT SCATTERS:

Collecting Pot Scatter symbols may trigger the Pots' magical features. The Scatters land in the grid labeled ROUNDS, JACKPOT, and BOOST, but the rules don't say how many you need to collect.

The features may only be awarded once per round and up to 3 times per game.

Rounds

Trigger the Green Pot and you win +2 additional rounds on top of the 6 your card started with.

Jackpot

Trigger the Red Pot to win the Jackpot bonus, which unlocks a wheel that grants a guaranteed reward from the 6 tiers above. How often Grand comes around is anybody's guess, though.

Boost

Trigger the Blue Pot to boost multiple symbol meters. By how much, the rules don't say.

Performance

Testing this game revealed no issues, which is exactly how I like it.

Maximum Win

Take the max multiplier of 2,000x to the $100 top bet and the max win comes to $200,000. The minimum bet is $0.05.

Conclusion

The everyday money in this game lives in the 8 meters to the left of the screen, with 10 Purple Gems at 100x leading the pack. The Hot Zone is the meters' best friend, because it scoops up single symbols that would otherwise just sit there.

Filling all 8 meters once pays 181x (1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 10 + 20 + 40 + 100), and that's a long way from 2,000x (the max multiplier).

Getting anywhere near the top prize on a single card means the Red Pot landing the Grand Jackpot at 1,000x, and then doing it again or pairing it with a pile of meter overflow.

The Jackpot can come up to 3 times per game, but with no wheel odds printed, treat that 2,000x as wishful thinking and the meters as your actual income.

A card runs 6 rounds at minimum. The Green Pot adds 2 at a time, once per round and up to 3 times per game, so the longest card you'll get is 12 rounds.

Judge the medium/high rating by its higher half and 2,000x falls short. This is my biggest grip with the game.

Low-risk players who like a scratch-card rhythm should sit at small bets and enjoy. Balanced players can push to moderate bets, as long as the meters are the plan and the wheel is a bonus. High-risk players should skip.
