Aloha Party Slot Review

Surf, sand, sea, and sun have never really been my best friends. Being born to two incredibly fair people of British origin, I have the unfortunate luck of turning lobster red every time I step into the sun for more than 30 seconds. I use SPF50 sunblock, wear a ghastly beach hat and still can’t seem to catch a break. The word ‘tanning’ isn’t really in my vocabulary, you see. Gameplay

Aloha Party is a 5 reel, 1024 payline (yes, you read that right) progressive slot by EGT Interactive. However, if you want to choose to bet on 256, 64, 16 or even 4 paylines, you can do so by merely adjusting the toggle on either side of the screen. One of the key parts of almost any slot game is the Wild, in this case, represented by a surfer. Other symbols include the Scatter, represented by bongo drums, a buxom looking Hawaiian lady, her male counterpart, cocktails, Lei flowers, a Strelitzia, a purple ‘10,’ a green ‘Q,’ a blue ‘J,’ an orange ‘K,’ and a yellow ‘A.’ The controls are similar to other EGT slots, so if you’ve played one before you should be able to handle it. Even so, I’ll run through them just in case you’ve developed sunstroke from sitting outside for too long. On your far left, you have the display showing your balance, while on the far right you have the display showing your wins. To the left of the screen you have the Auto Play button, just in case your hands are too busy holding one of the many cocktails you’re likely to drink while playing this game, as well as the toggle to control the sound, the information button and a control allowing you to go into full screen. In the middle of the page, you’ll see your bet level, starting at 40 and going all the way up to a max bet of 800. Merely clicking on your chosen bet will set the reels spinning so, your fingers won’t get too tired from working hard for hours on end.

Features

Aloha Party offers some nice features including a Wild symbol which, while only appearing on reels 2 and 4, can replace any other symbol including the Scatter. So what does this mean? Basically, landing a Scatter would allow you 12 free spins while having a Wild replace a Scatter increases the free spins feature - on reel 2 you’ll get three times as many Free Spins while on reel 4 your Free Spins will be multiplied by five. Getting Wilds on both reels will allow your up to fifteen times as many Free Spins as you would have achieved with a Scatter alone. Now that’s pretty damn neat.

Unique Features

Aloha Party offers an enjoyable bonus round, Gamble, which when triggered at random, gives you the chance to increase your wins substantially. Really all you have to do is guess whether a black card or red card will be drawn during a card flip. If you guess correctly you win, if not you lose all the winnings you made during that round. You can choose to collect your winnings at any point, so if you’ve made a fair amount and you feel like playing it safe, you can always click the ‘collect’ button and return back to the base game, multiplied winnings in hand.

Performance

EGT Interactive always offers slots with solid gameplay and Aloha Party is no exception. With outstanding graphics including gifs and a bright color scheme, as well as availability on any device I really have no complaints here. The music is perfect for a day at the beat - chill but with an upbeat rhythm. It’s another solid release from EGT that offers no nasty surprises lurking in the waves.

Conclusion

Overall, I can’t say anything bad about Aloha Party. With an enjoyable theme (seriously, I love those Hula girls), a reasonably good hit average - both on the bonus round and the base game, and solid gameplay; there’s nothing for me not to like. Well, that’s not entirely true - I’m still jealous of all of the people who get to enjoy the tropical sun like it’s no big deal, but at least I’m getting a little taste of that joy by playing Aloha Party.
