Bloodsuckers 2 Slot
With incisors like a saber tooth tiger, I'm often mistaken for a creature of the night. No jokes – Halloween is the only night of the year that I can give a full smile without repercussions. In fact, it's an advantage on that particular evening! “Wow – those vampire teeth look so realistic!” she says. “Vy thank you! D-o you v-a-n-t to come back to my place for a d-r-i-n-k?” I reply. But without a penchant for blood, I'm all bark and no bite. This is not the case with the vampires in NetEnt's follow up video slot “Blood Suckers 2” - they are most definitely the nasty kind. So – just a word of warning: This game is not for the faint-hearted. If you are determined to play but are the kinda person who covers their eyes during scary parts of a movie, I advise either an adult diaper or some meditative yoga before you begin. (Please note - This video slot can haunt you across all platforms and devices!) The freaky intro is enough for the first diaper change. I was immediately transfixed by both the eerieness of the setting and the buxom vampire princess Amila in search of treasure. It's a world of dangerous evil at every turn, and with a little bit of trepidation, I pressed spin. It was late at night and raining outside, so nature had provided me even more atmosphere!
Bloodsuckers 2 has 5 transparent reels and 25 paylines with plenty of gothic symbols. The face card symbols appear as ancient jewels, a shield emblem with wild written on is the wild symbol while the scatter symbol is an assortment of roses. Amelia's family make up the bulk of the rest. They range in age and looks, from an impossibly attractive female cousin (even with those bat-ears..) to an ancient crypt vampire. There are also a few bonus symbols that I'll get to later. A gorgeous round ruby is the Spin button with an Autoplay on the left and a Max Bet on the right. Also along the bottom: an Info button, Bet Amount, Level display, Coin Value and Total Coins. The Autoplay has some brilliant features enabling you to strategize when to stop.(just click on advanced features within the Autoplay menu)
3 or more scatters wins you 10 Blood Rose Free Spins, during which all wins are multiplied by 3. Also. during these spins, if you land another 3 scatters, you get 10 more free spins!
There's a randomly activated Scatter Shot feature which is always a pleasant surprise. When Amelia starts firing away, she's trying to land the missing scatter, and you might be in luck. One extra scatter can be awarded, gaining you 10 free spins while the medium value symbols award coin wins of between 10 – 100 times your bet! There's also a bonus shot in which one overlay bonus symbol pops up between reels 1-3. So start firing away my buxom beauty! Finally, there is a Hidden Treasure Bonus Game which is triggered by landing 3 bonus symbols on consecutive reels, from left to right. (If you trigger with 4 symbols, coin wins are doubled, and with 5, coin wins are tripled.) It's a pick and unlock game featuring chests and coffins with 5 levels. In each level, you accumulate scatters and attempt to reveal the key symbol, which advances you to the next level. 3 Scatters by the end of your bonus round triggers 10 free spins. Unlocking can result in coin wins, scatters, the prized key or a Demon who ends the fun.
The graphics and animation are incredible – worthy of any horror fans attention. The music gives you the heebie-jeebies, so I guess it does the job (maybe a bit too well). While the intro must strain graphics cards a bit, we noticed no lags or issues.
The danger in making a sequel to a successful game or movie is that it won't capture the same excitement with fans. There's always a temptation to throw in more action at the expense of theme and story. Bloodsuckers 2 is not only a worthy sequel but probably ensures this becomes a franchise for years to come. Maybe a movie? So if you're feeling brave, choose a dark and stormy night and get ready for some scary moments!
