When a Fist lands, it expands and becomes a Wild Fist Reel from the Fist and up. Note that this only happens if that reel is part of a win once expanded.

Each Fist belongs to one of the two teams: Red or Green. When it expands up the reel and passes through an opponent's Fighter symbol or a Wild on the way, a multiplier gets attached to it.

Conclusion

Big wins come from multipliers stacking on Wild Fist Reels, and the more Fighter symbols a Fist punches through on the way up, the bigger that number gets.
