Secret of the Witch Slot Review
In 2004, archaeologists digging in Greenwich, London, pulled up a stoneware bottle 🍶 that had been buried upside down sometime around the 1670s, with the cork still jammed in.
Inside were bent pins 📌, iron nails, fingernail clippings, hair, belly button lint, and a splash of urine. This was apparently some kind of charm against witches, but I have the same thing and I just call it reminders of my ex-wife. 🤷♂️
Secret of the Witch slot from Onlyplay comes with a lot less urine, which I'm counting as a win.

Gameplay
The aesthetics are cartoony and not even very well rendered. Sometimes when I look at the game, it feels thrown together in haste, at other times I think they were going for a specific look, but either way, it’s nothing to write home about.
The 5x3 grid has 25 paylines, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96%, volatility is high, and the max multiplier is 5,000x. The max win is $50,000, with bets ranging from $0.10 to $10, and no currency is blacklisted.
At the bottom of the paytable, the A, K, Q and J symbols share one payout: 0.2x for 3, 0.3x for 4 and 1x for 5. Broom, Potion and Eyeball step up to 0.5x, 1x and 3x. The Witch Hat pays 1x, 3x and 5x, and the Tombstone tops the lineup at 2x, 5x and 10x.
The Wild appears on all reels and substitutes for every standard symbol. It also pays on its own: 0.6x for 3, 3x for 4 and 10x for 5. It only works in the base game, and doesn't appear in the Bonus round at all.
The Bonus symbols are Colored Coins in blue, red and purple - which the sharp-eyed among you will notice corresponds with the pumpkins above the reels. They land with a cash value but none of them pay a cent in the base game.
When the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). kicks off, every Colored Coin on the reels moves over as a Bonus Coin and keeps its value.
There are 5 jackpots, all static: Mini at 25x, Minor at 50x, Major at 150x, Grand at 1,000x and Royal at 5,000x. You can only win them in the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). round.

Features
HOLD AND WIN:
The Colored Coins are your way into this feature. Blue fills the Collect Pumpkin, red fills the Mirror Pumpkin and purple fills the Multi Pumpkin, and a full pumpkin triggers the Bonus Game with that pumpkin's feature switched on.
The filling is decoration, though. Each Colored Coin that lands gives a chance to trigger its feature, and the rules say outright that coins piling up in the pumpkins don't guarantee or affect the odds of a trigger.
The round starts with 3 re-spins, and the Colored Coins that triggered it turn into Bonus Coins in the same positions. You can trigger 1, 2, or 3 Pumpkins / modifiers at the same time.
From there, only Bonus Coins and Jackpot Coins land. Each one locks in place until the round ends, and every new arrival resets the counter to 3.
Bonus Coin values are your base game bet (the bet on the spin that triggered the round) times a random 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x. When the Mystery symbol lands, it turns into either an Enhanced Coin worth 10x, 15x or 20x, or a Jackpot Coin.
The Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpot Coin prizes are awarded when they land. Fill all 15 positions and you get the Grand Jackpot as well, added on top of every coin, multiplier and jackpot already on the board.
The round ends when the re-spins run out with no new Bonus Coin or Jackpot Coin.
Collect Pumpkin
Fill the blue pumpkin and a special Collect symbol may show up. When it lands, it collects the values of every coin on the board once - regular and jackpot values included - with any active multipliers applied.
That total gets added to the Collect symbol's own value and goes straight into your Bonus Game award. The coins stay where they are, and the Collect symbol stays on the board as a coin.
Multi Pumpkin
The purple pumpkin places 3 to 5 multipliers, worth 2x to 5x, on random positions. They stay fixed there and apply to whatever coin is sitting on them, both when a Collect symbol triggers and again in the final count.
Mirror Pumpkin
The red pumpkin adds 2 rows, so the grid grows from 5x3 to 5x5. Each spin gives a chance for one or more coins, new or old, to copy into an empty position directly above or below them.
A copied coin keeps its base value without any multipliers, and it counts as newly landed, so the re-spins reset to 3.
Why does that matter? The Royal Jackpot needs the Mirror Pumpkin active and all 25 positions filled.
When it lands, the round ends immediately and the Royal Jackpot pays out the max win, with nothing else on the board paid alongside it.
WITCH FEATURE:
The Witch Feature can trigger at random in both the base game and the Bonus Game. In the base game, the coins you're missing to trigger one or more of the Pumpkin features can be added to the grid.
In the Bonus Game, only Mystery Coins or Collect Coins will be placed in empty positions.
Each Mystery Coin becomes an Enhanced Coin or a Jackpot Coin, and a Collect Coin collects every coin value on the board once.
If a Mystery Coin turns into the Grand, it pays directly, whether the 15 positions are full or not. That's the friendliest thing the witch does the entire game.
Performance
Luckily in this day and age, we don’t need magic to make the reels spin; only solid, dependable software and the one powering this game worked faultlessly.
Maximum Win
Put the max multiplier of 5,000x on the $10 top bet and the max win comes to $50,000. The smallest bet is $0.10.
Conclusion
The slot's money lives in the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). round, no question. Once you're in, the coins, the Enhanced Coins and the Jackpot Coins carry the cheddar.
Now look at the Royal Jackpot. The Mirror Pumpkin turns 15 positions into 25, so the Royal Jackpot asks for 10 more filled positions than the Grand for 5 times the prize.
And because it pays alone, a stacked 5x5 board full of coins and multipliers gets thrown out the moment it lands.
I treat the Royal Jackpot like a lottery ticket. The Grand is the big hit you can realistically chase, and the Witch handing you one from a Mystery Coin is the best shortcut in the game.
You can't buy your way into a feature but in my experience, the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). was popping off faster than the pimple on the witch’s nose.
Patient, high-risk players who like a jackpot chase in a Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). round should set a bankroll that can sit through small line wins. Low-risk players after steady base-game hits will find nothing to hold onto here.
