The Secret of London Slot Review

When I read the title of this slot, my interest was immediately piqued. The Secret of London? Tell me more! I want to know how a city can simultaneously be so expensive and so average at the same time. I don’t mean to sound bitter, but cmon! London is… okay, but there is so much beauty in the UK that people never talk about. It drives me kind of nuts.

Gameplay

The Secret of London is a 5-reel, 20-payline progressive slot. This game is centered around a kind of Sherlock Holmes figure, so expect some intrigue and drama. Symbols include a fancy looking British man, Big Ben, a pocket watch, a wooden pipe, an enormous diamond, and playing cards from 10 to Ace. The Wild is represented by Bootleg Sherlock himself, a book and key act as the Scatter, and there’s a bonus symbol represented by a magnifying glass. Controls are simple, but keep reading if you’re a complete novice at slots. On your left, you’ll find your balance display, as well as the toggle which controls the sound, and the menu and information buttons. In the middle of the screen, you’ll see your coin credit levels and preset bets. Click any of the preset bets to get your reels spinning. On the right of the screen is the home button, and the display showing your last win.

Features

So, what features can you expect?
Gamble: To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed.
Wild: Substitutes for all symbols except Scatter and Bonus. Doubles when substituting

Unique Features

Ooh boy, this one has some cool features:

• Free Spins: 3 or more Scatters triggers 7 Free Spins at a x3 Multiplier.

• Bonus: 3 Bonus symbols on reels 2 to 4, trigger 5 Bonus Free Spins. At the beginning of the feature, one of the other basic symbols is picked to act as the bonus.

Performance

This slot might be based on 19th century London, but the developers that built it sure aren’t. The graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack is campy and full of intrigue, and the game is available on any device.

Conclusion

Overall, The Secret of London is a fantastic slot. There’s really nothing to complain about here, and I’ll definitely come back to it. Come from the drama, stay for the payouts - that’s what I always say.
