Speed Baccarat D Slot Review
Why do some people seem to be in a rush for everything? Like, what's the deal with eating lunch while standing, speed-walking through the grocery store like it's an Olympic event, or honking at red lights the second it turns greenš¦?
Meanwhile, I live in a small town where "taking your time" is the way of life. People here are so relaxed that sometimes they don't even show upābecause, hey, why rush when you can just⦠notš¤·?
And then there's Speed Baccarat D from Evolution, who decided regular Baccarat wasn't chaotic enough and shaved off 21 seconds per round. Less than 30 seconds to make your bet, analyze the Roads, and figure out if you're about to win big or just spiralšµāš«.
If you thrive under pressure and think decision-making is best done at warp speed, this game is your new favorite adrenaline fix.
Gameplay
This high-speed version of Baccarat offers more chances to bet during the game. Every game lasts only 27 seconds, compared to 48 seconds in a regular Baccarat game. There's also a Live Chat feature that lets you talk to the dealer during the game.
If you're unsure how to play Baccarat, let me give you a quick rundown. If you already know how to play, feel free to jump down to the Features.
The game has an RTPRTP stands for āReturn to Player.ā The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a gameās volatility rate. of 98.76% and uses 8 decks of 52 cards. In each round, 2 hands are dealtāthe Banker's hand and your hand. After seven decks, the shoe, where all the cards come from, gets shuffled.
Before each deal, you can bet from $1 to $7,500 on whether your hand or the Banker's hand will be closest to 9 and win. You can also bet on a Tie, where the Banker's hand and yours end up with the exact total.
You can make 4 extra side bets, which I'll cover in the Features section below.
Once the betting time's up, you and the Banker get 2 cards each. Aces are worth 1, cards from 2 to 9 are worth their face values, and 10, King, Queen, and Jack are all worth 0.
If you draw a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 with your first two cards, you get a 3rd card. If you get a 6 or 7, you just stand there. If you get a Natural 8 or 9, you and the Banker don't draw a third card.
If the starting value of the hand is 10 or more, you just take away 10 from the total, and what's left is the hand's value. For instance, 9 plus 7 equals 16, which gives you a hand value of 6.
And then there's 5 plus 5 plus 5, which totals 15, resulting in a hand value of 5. 10 plus 9 equals 19, which is like saying 'Natural' 9.
Once the first 2 cards are handed out to you and the Banker, the 'Third Card Rule' kicks in to decide if a third card gets dealt. No hand receives more than three cards.
If you and the Banker end up with the exact total, it's called a Tie. If you or the Banker has an 8 or a 9 right after the first two cards, that's called a 'Natural,' and no more cards are drawn.
If the total value of the first two cards in either hand is between 0 and 7, then the hands will draw according to the Third Card Rule.
If you win your bet, you get back what you put in, plus the same amount again. If you place a winning bet on the Banker's hand, you'll score 0.95x your bet. If there's a tie, you get 8x your bet.
The most you can win here is 88x your bet, but only if you successfully win a bet that a Red Envelope appears next to after the betting time stops. However, the game is capped at $500,000. More on the Red Envelopes down in the Features section.
At the end of every round, a list of winners scrolls up the screen.
On both sides of the bet, you can see the Live Betting stats showing the percentages of all bets made on Player, Banker, and Tie by other players.
On the left side of your Bet Area, you'll see a graph known as the Bead Road. Every cell shows the outcome of a previous round, starting with the oldest result in the top left corner. A blue cell means a Player win, a red cell means a Banker win, and a green cell means a Tie.
Click on the board to switch the display between English, Simplified Chinese, or Score Mode. You'll find the Derived Roads and Big Road on the left side of the Bet Area.
The Derived Roads, like the Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road, show patterns based on past results from the Big Road. The Big Road shows the outcome of the first round in the top left corner.
Every time your winning streak shifts towards the Banker, a new column starts, and the same goes the other way around.
Right above the Big Road, you'll find the Shoe Statistics. It shows how many rounds have been completed and the counts for Banker wins, Player wins, Tie rounds, Banker pairs, and Player pairs.
You can check out how to play and get all the details about the Third Card Rule and the Boards by hitting the Help button in the toolbar. Alright, let's dive into the features!
Features
SIDE BETS
- Pairs: What's a game of Baccarat without Side Bets? You have two additional betting spots; Player Pair and Banker Pair. These allow you to bet on either the Player's or the Banker's first 2 cards being a Pair. The payout for either bet is 11x.
- Perfect Pairs: if two identical cards (in terms of value and suit) are dealt as the first two cards to either the Banker or you, you win 25x your bet. If two identical cards (in terms of value and suit) are dealt as the first two cards to you and the Banker, you win 200x your bet.
- Player Bonus: If you win the round on a natural 8 or 9 or by at least 4 points, you win 30x your bet.
- Banker Bonus: If the Banker wins the round on a natural 8 or 9 or by at least 4 points, you win 30x your bet.
RED ENVELOPE
Randomly, after the betting time is up, you can receive 1 to 3 Red Envelopes next to the Tie, Banker Pair, or Player Pair side bets.
The Tie bet can receive an increased payout of 11x, and the Banker Pair or Player Pair bet spot can receive an increased payout of between 15x.
MULTIPLAY
This feature allows you to place bets simultaneously at all Evolution's Live Baccarat tables without joining each table separately. All the Baccarat tables are displayed with video, a miniature version of the betting grid, and the player's choice of road.
When playing a game, click on the Baccarat Multiplay button in the lobby or on the screen to open the user interface. Then, it's easy to find the table with the longest streak in the user interface.
You can tap the Refresh button, and the tables will be sorted according to the hottest streak, with the hottest table at the top.
You can sort by Big Road, Big Eye, Small Road, or Cockroach.
You can pin a favorite table by clicking on the Pin Table button. The selected table will always appear at the top of the list, independent of its streak, even after you click 'Refresh' to sort the tables.
You can personalize your view, set video quality, select which tables you want to see in the user interface and place a bet at any table as long as the betting time is open.
Performance
I tested this game on my Android phone and gaming laptop, playing perfectly.
Maximum Win
The most you can win here is with the Red Envelope feature, which can boost a winning side bet by 88x your bet and the game is capped at $500,000. The lowest you can bet is $1 and the highest you can bet is $7,500.
Conclusion
Baccarat is already a fast-paced game that can often feel frantic and possibly overwhelming to new players. So Speed Baccarat D is a serious rollercoaster. You have less than 30 seconds to figure out your next move.
This game lets you really personalize the game layout to suit mobile and bigger screens.
The side bets are where you win big. But this is not a game for beginners. You need a firm grasp of the game and what all the Scorecards and patterns in the Roads mean. And if youāre completely insane you can bet across multiple games at once. Madness.
Itās a high-octane experience, but if you have the kind of brain that handles it, this is the game for you.
