Race Track Live Review

Life is a one-horse 🏇race, and by that I mean you’re the only one who can be you.

Deep, philosophical musings, to be sure, but this fact might change in the future. I mean, scientists have cloned animals, so nothing is stopping them from cloning people. 😱

Maybe one day our consciousness will be downloadable, and we’ll be implanted into another body. Maybe a non-human body. I’d like it if I could inhabit the body of a centaur. You know; top half human, bottom half horse 🐴😏. You get it.

Until then, let’s amass some wealth in Race Track Live from Evolution, because I’m sure the procedure won’t be cheap.

Gameplay

This horizontal-play-only game lives up to its title – it’s a live game, with a commentator and chat capabilities, that lets you bet on a horse race from the comfort of your home.

The volatility rate is high, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
is 96%
, the max multiplier is 89x, and the most money you can win is – wait for it – capped at a staggering $500,000! I kid you not; you can bet up to $10,000! The only currencies that are off the table are the Australian dollar and Doge.

The graphics of the horses and track are sweet; kinda reminiscent of 8-bit console games. But you wanna know how to play, so let’s get to it.

Clearly, the aim is to guess which horse you reckon will win the race. Beneath the track, you’ll see the odds for the horses you can bet on. Horses take up a lane based on their strength (in descending order, so the strongest in lane 1).

There are 50 horses to choose from, with 6 random ones selected each race, but always with a mix of strong, weak, and medium-strength beasts. Naturally, the odds and payouts change as we cycle through the lineup of horses.

So the first thing you’ll do is select your bet and when betting opens, you’ll click on the horse and odds you like. You can bet on one horse, several, or all of them.

To help you decide which horse is the one for you, toggle between All Horses and Tipster’s Choice. You’ll find these in the area above the commentator – click on the I and the II buttons, but it will only work in the betting phase.

My complaint with this is that you have 10 seconds to understand the info and place a bet, which makes it especially stressful if you want to place multiple bets.

Once the race starts, that’s it – you can’t change your bet.

Features

This game has no features but there are some things unique to this game that we can talk about here.

Bet Stats:

If you look closely at the odds – and it’s not going to be easy to see this on a tablet or phone – you’ll see the total wager placed on a horse and the number of players who have bet on it. You can hide this info if you want by going into the Settings menu.

Live Support:

You can get hold of something if things have gone tits up. Legitimate losses don’t count.

Chat:

This function lets you chat with the other players or the host. Please keep it respectful.

Game History:

This shows your bets, wins, and losses while playing Race Track Live.

Error Handling:

If there’s an issue of some sort, the game will be suspended and you’ll be notified via Chat or a pop-up message.

Multi-game Play:

Are you the type of person who sits on your laptop while YouTube plays on your tablet? Are you a multitasker extraordinaire? Then this function will be right up your alley.

You can join more than one table, which means simultaneous play on all of them! It works like this: after you’ve joined a table, click on LOBBY and click + TABLE for the extra game you wanna play.

You’ll be able to resize your browser window but not each game window separately. You can exit any table without affecting the others.

Performance

I didn’t have a single issue while testing the game.

Maximum Win

If you wanna win big or bet big, this is the game for you! Betting starts at $0.10 and is capped at $10,000. Also capped is the max win of $500,000 – that’s goddamn incredible! The max multiplier is 89x.

Conclusion

I’ve never bet on horses but Race Track Live has changed all of that; I think I’m a believer! And a lot of my conversion has to do with how Evolution has designed this game; it’s easy to use and interact with.

The live aspect gives you a rush that mimics a day at an actual track (to some degree, presumably). It’s so much fun!

Of course, if you’re looking to make mega moolah – and you can – it’ll mean a serious bankroll. But you can play with small bets too, so this game has broad appeal.

Evolution specializes in live games, so check out the studio on BitStarz for more real-time action.

PaylinesPaylines are preset lines that run across the reels, and when you land matching symbols on them, that will result in a payout. The more paylines, the more ways you can win, but also the higher your bet per spin.: N/A

Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).

The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.
