3 China Pots Slot Review

The number 3 comes up a lot in fairytales, and that’s probably because of its structure: it has a beginning, a middle, and an end. And that reminds me of The Human Centipede – did you ever see that crazy-assed movie? 🎥

If you haven’t, then boy, howdy, are you in for a treat! The story goes like this: two girls are on a road trip through Europe when their car 🚗 breaks down (of course).

They try to get help from a retired surgeon who lives in a remote house, only to find themselves kidnapped. They wake up in hospital beds, along with a Japanese dude, only to find that the doctor intends to combine them in a daisy chain. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

As for how the doctor achieves this, you might not wanna know. Happily, 3 China Pots slot from 3Oaks isn’t nearly as painful. 🤣

Gameplay

There are indeed 3 pots in this game, and you’ll find them above the 5-reel grid. They’re labeled “Extra,” “Double,” and “Multi,” and they come into play during the Bonus game, which I’ll describe in the Features section.

To the left of the grid are 4 Jackpots: the Mini pays 15x your bet, the Minor pays 30x, the Major pays 100x your bet, and the Grand pays 2,000x. More on these later. Ooh, the suspense!

The Wild symbol is a babe with a mysterious smile, and she’ll replace all symbols other than the Bonus one. The Bonus symbol is a gold coin that only pays during the Bonus game.

There are 25 paylines in 3 China Pots slot, a 95.68% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, and a medium to high volatility rate. You can end up with a payday worth $256,800 courtesy of the 4,280x multiplier, but you can’t bet with the Australian dollar or the Japanese yen.

Features

BONUS GAME:

The Bonus game gets randomly triggered when you collect Blue, Red, and Violet Bonus symbols.

It’s a Hold & Win feature where only Bonus coins land on the special reels (so no Wilds). You’ll be given 3 re-spins to start with unless you trigger the round with the Extra Bonus coz then you’ll get 4 re-spins. Landing Coins on the reels resets the spin counter.

You can initiate the round with 1, 2, or 3 Bonus pots, which will then be active for the duration of the feature (a non-triggering Bonus pot will disappear).

The triggering Bonus symbols will stick to the reels and each active pot will bring its benefits to bear:

  • The Multi Bonus symbol scatters multipliers on random positions of the grid
  • The Double Bonus symbol creates an extra grid to play on. The triggering Bonus symbols are duplicated across the boards
  • The Extra Bonus symbol adds an extra re-spin to the mix

Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpot Bonus symbols can also land on the reels and award their corresponding prize(s). Filling all grid positions with Bonus coins results in the Grand Jackpot being paid out.

Performance

I experienced a single instance where 3 China Pots slot froze during Autoplay, but other than that, the game worked perfectly.

Maximum Win

Score a payday worth $256,800 when you combine the 4,280x multiplier with a max bet of $60. Or you can start betting from $0.25.

Conclusion

I’m not the greatest fan of games such as 3 China Pots slot, which have features that trigger randomly. I would prefer it if there’s some kind of meter that lets me know how close I am to glory.

That would also have the benefit of keeping me playing if I see that I’m close to triggering a round, and builds anticipation and excitement. Oh well.

The studio does love a Hold & Win game, and they have a whole bunch in their stable if you enjoyed 3 China Pots slot. There’s 3 Egypt Chests slot, for example (and let’s ignore the fact that it should read “3 Egyptian Chests” but oh well).

That game also uses a collection process, with the 3 chests offering additional spins, multipliers, and a second gaming board.

And once again, there are Jackpots – but while the lesser ones are identical to what’s on offer in 3 China Pots slot, the Grand Jackpot in 3 Egypt Chests slot pays 5,000x.

However, 3 Egypt Chests slot only pays $178,619 (our current game offers $256,800), but it has a spectacular 10,507x multiplier (versus 4,280x for the current game).

Both games have very similar RTPs. So, if you’re into what 3Oaks has to offer, then you’re sure to find a Hold & Win variant that’ll suit your tastes.
