3 Luxor Pots Hold and Win Slot Review

The closest I’ve come to Egypt is The Luxor in Las Vegas. I mean, when you think ‘timeless grandeur of ancient Egypt,’ you obviously mean a massive glass pyramid filled with slot machines, $15 watered-down drinks,🍸and the lingering scent of questionable life choices.

I can’t help but wonder if the pharaohs had known their architectural legacy would be reduced to a Sin City theme hotel with a food court, 🍜 they might have just skipped the whole ‘civilization’ thing.

What about the insanely bright beam at the top, blasting into space like we’re trying to signal Ra himself? He’s probably up there squinting, 😣 wondering why we’ve made his pyramid glow like a UFO landing pad.

Don’t even get me started on the Sphinx outside, looking like it just had a botched facelift. But hey, historical accuracy is overrated when you can sip a margarita 🍹 while visiting King Tut’s tomb, all inside a pyramid on The Strip.

Let’s see if 3 Luxor Pots Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). slot by Playson has what it takes to please Ra. 👑

Gameplay

Set inside a pyramid, towering pillars flank the reels while burning torches cast a flickering glow across the room. Above the 5x4 grid, three differently colored money pots sit, each with a role to play—I’ll explain their importance in just a moment.

On the left, are Jackpots: the Mini pays 15x, the Minor pays 50x, the Major pays 150x, and the Grand Jackpot pays 1,000x your bet. Just below the Jackpots is the Buy Bonus button.

This game is built on the following stats: 30 paylines, a 95.76% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., a high volatility rate, and a 10,033x max multiplier. The studio has given the game a $150,495 max win.

Features

HOLD AND WIN

You can trigger the Bonus game in two ways: by landing 6 or more Coin symbols or by activating the Pot features with Scarab Coins. The bonus round follows a classic Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). format, with 3 re-spins. Any collected values are added up and paid out at the end.

HOLD AND WIN WITH POT FEATURES

Whenever one or more Scarab Coins land in the base game, there’s a chance to randomly trigger the Bonus game with Pot features.

Each pot above the reels collects Scarab Coins of its matching color, and the pot that activates the Bonus game determines the features you'll get.

  • Expand - Each green Scarab Coin appearing during the Bonus game will expand the grid by one extra row and randomly awards you with 1x to 7x your bet.
  • Multi - Each red Scarab Coin in the Bonus game spreads 3 random multipliers of 2x to 7x onto random symbol values across the reels.
  • Collect - Each blue Scarab Coin in the Bonus game collects all symbol values on the reels and adds them to its own value.
  • Magic Scarab - When the pink/white Magic Scarab lands in the Bonus game, it randomly transforms into a green, red, or blue Scarab Coin, corresponding to a specific Pot feature.

JACKPOTS

To win a Jackpot, fill up the progress bar with matching colored tokens during the Bonus game. Once the bar is full, the corresponding Jackpot coin will be added to the reels, and the accumulation process starts over.

  • 5 Red Tokens - Grand Jackpot (1,000x)
  • 4 Green Tokens - Major Jackpot (150x)
  • 3 Blue Tokens - Minor Jackpot (50x)
  • 3 Purple Tokens - Mini Jackpot (15x)

MULTIPLIER FOR THE FULL FIELD

When you fill the entire grid during the Bonus game, you’ll be awarded an additional multiplier based on the number of rows:

4 Rows - 2x Multiplier
5+ Rows - 3x Multiplier

BUY BONUS

When you click on the red ‘Bonus’ button, you’ll open up the Buy Bonus feature which offers two choices:

Bonus Game (1, 2, or 3 Pot features) - 70x
Super Bonus Game (all 3 Pot features guaranteed) - 200x

Performance

This game worked flawlessly and without any issues.

You can bet as low as $0.20. If you want the $150,495 max win, you’ll have to match the 10,033x max multiplier with a $15 bet.

Conclusion

The Pot features are the heart of this game and your key to big wins. Activating more than one during the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. With all three in play, your chances of landing serious payouts increase significantly. That’s why I like that the Super Bonus game is available as a Buy Bonus option. Plus, the fact that you can hit multiple Jackpots in the same round is just the cherry on top.

Usually, that’s the big moment, but I guess there’s some logic behind it.

While the max win isn’t as high as it is in some other games, I believe the game is worth a shot. If you’re looking for another Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen.
