5 Dazzling Hot

Here we go again Y'all, another goddamn fruit slot. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: fruit slots are overdone. I mean I get the nostalgia factor, I do, but in all honesty, we have enough. There’s only so many fruit slots we as a society need, and I believe that we’ve exceeded that limit. I'm not being catty either, I swear! I enjoy fruit slots, but wow. Enough now guys, enough. With that being said, Amusnet Games games are always so good that they manage to redeem themselves regardless of the theme, so I’m still thrilled that I get to review this game.

Gameplay

5 Dazzling Hot is a 5-reel, 5-payline video slot powered by software from EGT Interactive. This is your regular old fruit slot, reminding you of your hometown casino including the stale cigarette smell and the moldy alcoholics. You’ll find all of the usual suspects on the reels including cherries, oranges, lemons, watermelon, olives, grapes, and lucky 7s. A gold star represents the Scatter. EGT Interactive controls are always relatively standard, so if you’ve played one of their games before you should be familiar. If not, I have absolutely nothing to say to you. Where have you been? Have you never played a slot before?? Ugh, whatever. Here they are, for the dinguses out there: On the bottom left of the reels, you’ll find your balance, Auto Play, Information, and Sound toggle, while on the bottom right you’ll see your wins. To set your coin value and your bet, you”ll have to click on the buttons below the reels. The minimum coin value is 1, while the maximum is 3, with bets ranging from 5 - 300. To spin the reels, all you have to do is click on your desired bet which will act as a ‘start’ button.

Features

EGT Interactive love a Gamble featureThis feature allows you to gamble your current winnings. It usually takes the form of guessing what color and/or suit a facedown card will reveal itself to be. A correct guess on the color pays 2x, while a correct guess of the color and suit pays 4x your bet. and seem to put one in all of their games. 5 Dazzling Hot is no exception. To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed. So play well, you don’t want to disappoint your higher-ups and face disciplinary action.

Unique Features

The game only offers one unique feature, but it’s pretty neat:

Jackpot Cards Mystery: Jackpot Cards Mystery is a randomly triggered bonus, that is activated when a Jackpot Cards stamped game is played. Each of the mystery jackpots is represented by one of the four suits: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts. You’ll have to pick three matching cards from a pick-field of 12 to be rewarded with the corresponding suits jackpot.

Performance

Look, this game might not have all the bells and whistles, but it’s solid. The graphics are nostalgic, the soundtrack is cheesy as all hell, and the game is available on any device.

Conclusion

5 Dazzling Hot is just your classic fruit slot. Whether you're looking for a hit of nostalgia or even if you’re just after some low volatility fun with good payouts, 5 Dazzling Hot could very well be the slot for you. So, take her out for a spin - what exactly have you got to lose?
