5 Lions Gold Slot Review
If I could choose to make anything in the world solid gold, I think I would choose a live lion. Don’t misunderstand me, I’d want to lion to remain living. It would just live out the remainder of its days, solidly gold and impenetrable to any human attack. Now, the only thing better than one of these lions would be (you guessed it) five of them. Although this slot does in no way represent this dream, it embodies more of a cultural mishmash of East Asian iconography. I’d rather not talk about that, I’m just going to stick with how cool a golden lion would be.
Gameplay
5 Lions Gold is a 5-reel, 243-payline video slot powered by software from Pragmatic Play. This is an Oriental-themed slot, with symbols including dragons, birds, frogs, koi fish, tortoises, and royal values from 9 to Ace. The Scatter is represented by a Yin Yang, and the Wild by a golden lion (see where this game gets its name from?).
The controls are standard for Pragmatic, so if you’ve played one of their slots before you should be golden. If not, let’s run through them. Below the reels you’ll find: Menu, Sound, Info, Credit Display, Bet Display, Bet -, Spin, Auto Play, and Bet+.
Features
So, what features can you expect from 5 Lions Gold?
Wild: Wild appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.
Unique Features
The free spins feature is triggered when you land 3 or more Scatters on reels 2, 3 or 4. At the start of the feature, you’ll have to choose one of seven options. During the feature, at every spin, a multiplier is randomly chosen from a range that forms part of your free spins option feature. At the end of every free spin, all winning combos that contain a Wild are added multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier value. Free Spins options range between 6 and 25 free spins, and x2 and x40 multipliers.
Performance
Visually, this slot is seriously stunning. The graphics are lovely, and very tastefully done. The sound effects are pretty standard for an Oriental-themed slot, but inoffensive, and there’s gameplay available on tablet, mobile, and desktop.
Max Win
The max coin win is 18,000. There are also three jackpots (Minor, Major, and Grand), which can be won at any time.
Conclusion
Overall, 5 Lions Gold is a real gem of a slot. The free spins feature is fantastic, and the jackpots are a serious plus. 5 Lions Gold also offers some very generous payouts. Honestly, this is a great slot - so give it a spin already!
