Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows Slot Review

I’m going to be real with you right now. I was really looking forward to watching the new Napoleon Bonaparte biopic because I’m a history nerd with a love for small men.

But, the fact that they cast Joaquin Phoenix means that I can’t. I think he’s a phenomenal actor, but he bears a striking resemblance to my nightmare ex-boyfriend. And I don’t feel like getting flashbacks to bad sex for the entire 157-minute runtime 🥲.

“What on earth has this got to do with Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot from Quickfire?” (god that’s a mouthful), you may ask. Do I really have to spell it out? Leprechauns… short men… yeah.

So no, you won’t encounter France’s most notorious emperor on these reels, but with a bit of like you might bump into an even more preposterous little man. You know it, I know it, let’s get on with this.

Gameplay

Let’s be honest with each other, we all rely heavily on luck to get us through the highs and lows of gambling. And software providers really like to take our coping mechanisms and run with them, which has kind of resulted in the popularity of leprechaun-themed slots.

Because who’s luckier than a redhead midget 🍀?

Anyway, Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot is Quickfire’s latest entry into the genre. This Irish-themed offering takes place on a 5x3 reel grid and 40 paylines and looks pretty much exactly like every other slot of its kind 🌈.

I guess it’s tricky to innovate in such a well-established niche, but I’m getting a little tired of seeing the same pots of gold, rainbows, four-leaf clovers, and leprechauns over and over again.

The symbols are pretty standard, and your payouts vary according to whether you match high-paying or low-paying ones (as well as your bet level).

Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot has a 96.27% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., a high volatility rate, and a maximum multiplier of 6,250x your bet. The bet limits range from €0.20 to €40, ensuring that you can play regardless of the size of your bankroll, and the maximum win lands at €250,000 💸.

You can play in any fiat currency besides the Japanese yen - sorry!

HTML5 technology ensures that Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot is optimized for play on all kinds of devices. It’s fully compatible with mobiles and desktops, including smartphones, tablets, and computers that use iOS, Android, and Windows.

Features

RAINBOW SPINS 🌈

When a Gold Pot coin lands, it adds to the Gold Pot collection and can help you trigger the Rainbow Spin feature. This feature activates a single Rainbow Spin, activating all 3 Rainbows.
At this point, if one or more coins land on a Rainbow, it triggers the Action Boost Free Spins round. Oh, and could trigger one of the static jackpots!

ACTION BOOST FREE SPINS 🌟

Once triggered, any coin that lands on the reels will be collected and added to the pot.
There are 4 possible Action Boost variations, and which one you get will be determined based on the combo of coins you’ve collected:

  • Green Coin: Score 5 Free Spins, with each additional Gold Coin awarding either a Rainbow Spin or contributing to your coin collection. This round will take place on an expanded grid of 5x6 reels.

Any Wild that lands will cause its chosen reel to nudge until all of its positions contain Wilds.

  • Red Coin: You’ll win 10 Free Spins, during which any Gold Coin awards a bonus prize or a Rainbow Spin. You could also win any of the 4 jackpots during this round. The jackpots range in value from 10x to 5,000x. Talk about the luck of the Irish.

  • Purple Coin: You’ll get 5 Free Spins, and any Gold Coin that lands will award an extra 1 or 2 spins, a prize, or a Rainbow Spin. The Rainbow Spin will give you 1 to 3 additional Free Spins, or a cash prize, each a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, or 5x.

  • Multiple Coin: All Action Boost features will be triggered if you manage to land this feature. You’ll score 5 or 10 Free Spins, depending on which coin activates it.

Performance

Quickfire doesn’t mess around with their games. So, if you’re looking for glitch-free, seamless betting, you can count on them.

I tested Action Boost 3 Rainbows slot on my iPhone 13 and MacBook Pro, and it worked perfectly. I liked it a bit more on my iPhone but that’s because I think it looked better on a smaller screen, not due to the slot’s performance.

You won’t run into any trouble here.

Maximum Win

Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot has a maximum win of €250,000.

Conclusion

My penchant for short kings aside, I didn’t love this game. I don’t think it’s that I’m biased due to the generic Irish-theme, but I found Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot a little mundane.

Reading over this review, you’ll notice that it seems to have quite a lot of features. But they’re all related to the Rainbow Spins and Free Spins rounds and don’t really bring anything new to the table. If you’re doing the same thing, with minor variations, I wouldn’t say that you’re innovating.

Action Boost 3 Lucky Rainbows slot is solid. The gameplay itself is seamless, the maximum win is generous, and it’ll appeal to pretty much any player looking to make a quick buck, but if you’re after something new and exciting, this isn’t your game.

Overall, it’s worth a spin because there’s some money to be made, but Quickfire hasn’t reinvented the wheel.
