Age of the Gods: God of Storms Fire Blaze Slot Review
I have to say, being the Greek god of the winds is a pretty sweet gig. Aeolus had serious power, but he doesn’t get nearly as much recognition as his peers. The guy could decide whether ships sailed smoothly or got tossed around like rubber ducks in a tsunami. 🌊
He had his own floating island 🏝️called Aeolia, which sounds like the kind of place influencers would flock to before Mykonos took over. And if Aeolus didn’t want you to come, he’d summon a hurricane-sized wind to make sure you never reached the shore.
What’s even funnier, is that he literally kept different winds bagged up like party favors. He even gave one to Odysseus to help him out but his crew screwed it up by opening it, unleashing a storm that sent them right back to square one. 🌪️
I’d love to have a few of those wind bags at home just to mess with people. Definitely a step up from the fancy gift bags 🛍️they hand out at the Oscars and those fancy Victoria Secret parties.
Aeolus puts his full power on display in Age of the Gods: God of Storms Fire Blaze Slot by Playtech. Who knows? He might just let you sail off into the sunset with pockets full of cash! 💰
Gameplay
This is another addition to the popular Age of the Gods series. At first, I assumed Zeus would be in charge of storms, but that title actually belongs to Aeolus. You’re about to discover why.
The game unfolds against a dramatic maritime backdrop, with a sprawling city on the left of the 5x3 grid and the vast ocean dominating the right.
Also on the left are Jackpots: the Mini pays 20x, the Minor pays 100x, the Major pays 500x, and the Grand pays 1,000x.
The highest-paying symbols are three warriors, two male and one female.
The game is built around the following stats: 25 paylines, a high volatility rate, and a 2,575x max win. Playtech has given it a $154,500 top prize. The total RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 95.89%, including the bonus contribution of 0.99%.

Features
WILD WIND FREE SPINS
The Ship Wild symbol appears only on reels 2-4 and substitutes for all symbols except Wilds and Coins. When a Ship Wild fully covers a reel, it triggers the Wild Wind Free Spin feature.
With each spin, Aeolus blows across the reels, shifting all Ship Wild symbols one position to the left. If a Ship Wild reaches reel 1, it moves off the grid and is no longer in play.
Free Spins end when the last Ship Wild moves off the grid.
A win multiplier starts at 1x and increases with each spin, reaching up to 2x, 3x, or 5x, and applies to every win.
During Free Spins, the Collector (Aeolus) appears on every spin. If one or more Coin symbols land, their values are collected and paid out.
During Free Spins, Coin symbols can have values of 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x.
The Fire Blaze Hold and Respin feature can be triggered during Free Spins.
FIRE BLAZE HOLD AND RESPIN
Landing 6 or more Coin symbols anywhere will trigger the Fire Blaze Hold and Respin feature, which is a type of Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). game. All Coin symbols that were part of triggering the feature will remain in position, and you’ll start with 3 spins.
During this feature, the potential Coin values are: 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, and 10x. A Coin symbol may also show a Star icon. More on this coming up.
If the feature is triggered during Free Spins, the triggering Coins will have values of 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x.
The Collector may randomly appear on any respin. After each spin, if the Collector is present, it will collect all Coin values. However, if a Coin shows a Star, it will not be collected. Keep in mind that landing the Collector does not reset your spin count.
If you can fill all positions during the Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. The game features a 4x5 grid with 20 Coins, each hiding a Jackpot symbol. Match 3 identical Jackpot symbols to win the corresponding Jackpot.
Performance
The game worked flawlessly and there were no issues.
Max Win
By dropping a $60 bet and tying it to the 2,575x max multiplier, you’ll be in line for the $154,500 top prize. If you prefer smaller bets, you can go as low as $0.20.
Conclusion
After his performance here, I can understand why Aeolus doesn’t rank as highly as some of the other Greek deities. All jokes aside, the game theoretically has it all, but for some reason, the gameplay doesn’t quite live up to expectations.
Both the multiplier and top prize are on the lower side, but there are multiple ways of getting your hands on a Jackpot, which is promising. I would’ve at least liked to see higher values for the Coin symbols, but I guess you can’t have it all.
If you’re not convinced by Aeolus and his powers after a few spins, make your way over to the Storm of Olympus slot by 3Oaks. It has a slightly bigger payout potential, and hey, you’ll still be deep in Greek mythology.
