Alien Fruits Slot Review
Rambutan looks like Prince Harry’s ballbag on a cold winter’s day. Or so I’d imagine. And it’s not like I spend a lot of time conjuring up images of the famous ginger’s giggle berries – I want to be clear on that – but if you’ve never seen a rambutan, you should Google it.
If you’re feeling brave, look for pictures showing the inside of the thing. I swear, it’s like peeking inside a nutsack. One of my friends slashed his scrotum open in an accident and he’ll tell you it looked rambutan. Hey! I just coined a new phrase! Trademark to follow so lay off.
But I digress. I was meant to be talking about otherworldly fruit because the next one from BGAMING is called Alien Fruits slot. 🍒
Oh. My. Greatness! Now this is what I’m talking about! If you’re gonna make a fruit slot, then how about one with aliens, suitably cool sound effects, and a Cluster Pays system? Oh, and add that the game should look unbelievably good on any device.
And that, my fine friends, is precisely what BGaming has conjured up. I think I spent fully 10 minutes absorbing all of the details before I managed to get into the gameplay.
Alien Fruits slot uses a Tumble feature, whereby the symbols involved in a win will be destroyed so that others can take their place. BGaming calls it Refilling, and the upshot is you can get unlimited Refills as long as you score winning combinations.
The spaceship Scatter pays in any position during the base game. It also has other functions, but I’ll chat about these in the Features section below.
As for the stats, we’re looking at an RTP of 96%, a high volatility setting, and a max win of €180,000 (this could’ve been better). The other plus factor is that all currencies are available, so you can rock ‘n’ roll with your favorite crypto or fiat.
Landing Scatters is – unsurprisingly – what triggers this feature and 4, 5, or 6 Scatters get you 10, 20, or 30 spins respectively. The other function of the Scatter is to re-trigger spins: 3 more of them will get you an additional 5 spins.
Multiplier symbols (look out for the “Beam me up Scotty” device) will only be found on the reels during Free Spins. Whenever one of these symbols hits, it’ll take on a random multiplier value that ranges from 2x to 100x.
Pay 100x and you’ll be transported straight to the Free Spins round.
Performance on Alien Fruits slot was stellar. The gameplay wasn’t interrupted by glitches or loading issues, nor was it affected when I swapped browsers.
While the €180,000 max win is on the low side for a high-volatility game, the max multiplier is superb; at 15,000x.
Betting starts at €0.20 and is capped at €12, meaning you won’t be digging too deep in your pockets should you want to chase down that top prize.
OK, I admit it; I’m a sucker for good looks. And Alien Fruits slot just kills it from a design perspective.
It also feels like the lone Free Spin feature is ideally suited to the game and the inclusion of a Bonus Buy is a sweet accouterment, as they say in the land of frog eaters.
While I do tend to lean towards games with innovative features, there are times when I’d like to chill and play something that doesn’t take too much brain power (coz I don’t have much to spare).
The stats are also decent, and Alien Fruits slot is a brilliant companion if you like to play on the go. All of which makes it a winner in my books.
