Amelia’s Mugs and Jugs Slot Review
We’ve all heard about the Munich Beerfest 🍻, but do you know the origin story? I didn’t – I just thought it was a bunch of thirsty lederhosen-wearing beer aficionados who got together for a party.
It turns out the Oktoberfest kicked off in 1810 as a public celebration of the wedding between Crown Prince 🤴Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess 👸🏻 Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen.
You see? It’s a cultural event steeped in historical meaning – let’s see if your wife accepts this when you say to her you’re going on a boy’s trip to the land of sauerkraut and bratwurst.
Now, here’s the bad news: the cost of a beer stein in 2024 ranged from €13.60 to €15.30. Whew! 😳😱 I need a serious cash injection to fund my trip, so here’s hoping that Amelia’s Mugs and Jugs slot from Quickfire can help me out.
Gameplay
Now THIS is my kinda game! I do like me some big ol’ jugs that slosh around, and Amelia has her hands full with hers.
Ze German Beerfest is our setting, and you’ll see three animated jugs on top of the reels. These will come in handy for the game’s main feature, so stick with me coz I’ll explain how that round triggers in the Features section.
Our talented Amelia (not the most German-sounding name ever) is Wild, and she can substitute for all paying symbols, other than Coins and Collect symbols.
Coin symbols come in three colors: red, blue, and gold, and they come loaded with cash prizes. The blue Coin pays 1x to 5x, the red Coin pays 6x to 15x, and the gold Coin pays 20x to 50x.
The Collect symbol also has a multiplier value, and that could be anything from 1x to 5x.
The other high-paying symbols are hilariously appropriate: there’s an accordion, a trombone, a cap with a feather, and a pretzel.
But this game isn’t all fun and games. Underneath the skin are some serious stats that are as sure to please as Amelia’s charms. There are 40 paylines, a 96.37% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., and a medium volatility rate. However, the max multiplier is 20,000x, and the max win is $250,000.
You’ll need to play with fiat money, but the yen and ruble are not among the accepted currencies.
Features
EXPRESS COLLECT:
Land a Collect symbol on reel 5, and the total value of all visible Coins will be collected and paid to you. And this is in addition to any payline wins. The Collect symbol’s multiplier will be applied to the total value of all of the Coins on the grid.
LINK&WIN:
The color of the Coins I mentioned earlier corresponds to the colors on the dancing Jugs on top of the reels. Land a blue Coin, for example, and its value will be collected by the blue Jug.
Each time a Coin is collected, there’s a chance that the Link&Win game (a Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). with some differences) will be triggered. There are three types of Link&Win games: a red, blue, or gold version; each being played with its specific Coin.
You’ll hopefully see a Link&Win Multiplier symbol land (a wooden beer keg), and that’ll have a 1x multiplier that can increase to 5x. This multiplier value is applied to the total value of all visible Coins, but only for a single spin.
If you land an Extra Spin symbol (a golden urn-type of thing with a purple background), you’ll be gifted an additional spin. The Mystery symbol (a coat of arms with blue) reveals a multiplier, extra spin, or a Coin symbol.
Jackpots:
And now we get to the good stuff. You win the Mini Jackpot, which pays 10x, when you land 10 Coins on the reels. You win the Major Jackpot, which pays 50x, when you land 15 Coins on the reels. You win the Mega Jackpot, which pays 2,000x, when you land 20 Coins on the reels.
The Link&Win multiplier doesn’t boost the Jackpot awards.
BOOST:
This Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. costs 50% more than your current bet. In exchange for your moolah, you’ll see more Coins landing in the base game.
It’s a little difficult to see when the Boost has been enabled, so do keep an eye out for that. The Boost is active when the sign that you click on goes a little brighter.
Performance
Hundreds of spins, zero issues.
Maximum Win
You can score the max win of $250,000 by combining the 20,000x max multiplier with the largest bet of $12.50. The smallest bet you can place is $0.20. These are magnificent numbers for a game with medium volatility.
Conclusion
The base game isn’t where you want to be – you’re relying on payline wins and the Express Collect, and that’s not as helpful as being in the Link&Win round.
Unfortunately, there’s no Buy Bonus, so you need to trigger the round organically or with the Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature..
I wouldn’t label Amelia’s Mugs and Jugs slot “exciting,” but a potential 20,000x max multiplier from a medium-volatility game is impressive.
As an alternative to our current game, I’d suggest checking out Amazing Link Catalleros slot. It has a Free Spins round, a Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too)., plus there’s a Pick and ClickPick & Click games present you with several options, in the form of items you need to select. Choosing an item will reveal what’s beneath – perhaps a cash prize or a Mystery symbol that can transform into something else. This format puts control in your hands. that can award Jackpots up to 5,000x. Also, there’s a Buy Bonus.
That game is highly volatile, and yes, the max multiplier is “only” 5,300x and you’ll need ot bet 50 bucks to be eligible for the $265,000 max win.
