Ashoka Slot Review

Ashoka was the third emperor of the Maurya Empire of the Indian subcontinent and he reigned from 268 to 232 BCE. And let’s not mince our words – Ashoka was a bit of a bastard, considering he killed his brothers to clinch his father’s throne. 👑

But it seems that kinda thing was par for the course back in the day, and where power and wealth were concerned. Luckily, fratricide isn’t a necessity these days. All you need is a bit of luck and a decent budget to make your fortune. 💰

This is Ashoka slot and it comes to us from ELK Studios.

Gameplay

I’m not sure who our many-armed friend is, but he presides over a Cluster PaysUnlike traditional paylines, Cluster Pays can award wins when a minimum number of matching symbols land adjacent to each other (vertically or horizontally), forming a cluster. game with 6 reels and 8 rows. The game has been optimized for vertical play on a mobile phone, so if that’s how you prefer to play, then you might wanna option this slot.

The grid stretches from one side of the screen to the other, and the symbols are large and clear enough that you can play on the go, and wherever you happen to be.

You’ll see Charged Wilds on the reels with a “W” kinda shape with the silhouette of our apendagely-gifted (yes, I made that up) homie in purple. These Wilds will be persistent for up to 3 wins.

Then there are the Big Wilds that can take a 1x1, 2x2, or 3x3-sized format. Normal Wilds are also available, and these replace all paying symbols.

If you’re a player who likes to chase big wins, you might want to avert your eyes. You see, Ashoka slot only offers a max win of €150,000. The volatility rate has been set to medium/high, and the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 94%.

Only fiat currencies are available, and the betting range starts at €0.20 and is capped at €6. Wins come about when you land 8 or more identical symbols anywhere on the reels.

Features

Win Multipliers will boost all winning combinations in view. You get “normal” and Super Multipliers with the latter reactivating for every Avalanche. Super Multipliers will therefore remain active until no more winning combos appear.

If you’re unsure what an Avalanche is, or how this game manifests them, allow me to explain. Basically, a round starts with a symbol drop and there are blocking symbols (the dark ones with nothing on em) above and below each reel.

Winning symbols will be removed and any blocker that’s vertically adjacent to a winning symbol is also removed – this increases the number of symbols in play. The grid will then fill up with new symbols. And hopefully, that translates into even more wins.

FREE SPINS:

You’ll trigger this round when you land 3 Bonus skulls in the base game. You’ll start with 10 spins, and you can trigger additional spins in the following way: 2 more Bonus symbols get you 5 more spins, while 3 additional Bonus symbols = 10 more spins.

X-ITER BONUS BUYS:

You can buy one of 5 options if this feature is available in your territory.

• Bonus Hunt (3x your bet): Gives you a better chance of triggering the Free Spins round
• Charged Wilds (10x your bet): Buys you a round where all Wilds are charged
• Super Multiplier (25x your bet): Gets you a round with a guaranteed Super Multiplier
• Buy Bonus (100x your bet): Gets you into the Free Spins round
• Super Bonus (500x your bet): Gets you into the Free Spins round with a guaranteed Super Multiplier

Performance

ELK has made sure that Ashoka slot plays across all devices and browsers. And I can verify that this game performed flawlessly during testing.

Maximum Win

A bet of €6 – which is the max – along with the 25,000x top multiplier will bring in a prize worth €150,000. You can always bet from as little as €0.20 though, so you do you, bro.

Conclusion

Ashoka slot isn’t your run-of-the-mill Cluster PaysUnlike traditional paylines, Cluster Pays can award wins when a minimum number of matching symbols land adjacent to each other (vertically or horizontally), forming a cluster. game; it takes some doing to get the most out of the experience. And by that, I mean it might cost you a bit because you’ll probably want to use the X-iter options to boost the excitement – and win – levels.

Doing so can get pricey, especially when venturing into Super Bonus territory. But the thing is, you’re saving a bit in terms of the max bet. Other games place a heavy financial burden on players whereas the max bet here is only €6.

I found it very difficult to trigger the Free Spins round so again, you might wanna rely on the X-iter option to do the heavy lifting for you.

This is a challenging game that looks fantastic on mobile devices and it's a little different from the norm (I’m also thinking here about busting through the blocker tiles). However you slice it, Ashoka slot is a solid offering from the Swedish game studio and worth looking at.
