Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo Slot Review
I’m not a celebrity hound😒. I don’t care about the gossip pages or who is featured on them. Although some celebrities are so famous that news about them trickles into my sphere of consciousness.
One such celebrity couple is Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith🙄.I have no interest in these two people normally.
I heard they had kids together who also dabbled in music and acting. But beyond Will Smith’s decades-old films📽️ like Bad Boys, Men in Black, and Independence Day, I thought he had basically faded from the limelight.
Then he came back with that movie about the Williams sisters, which he got an award after slapping Chris Rock. That was insane🤯! And then all the even more insane stuff his wife was saying and doing came to my attention.
At first, I thought Will Smith was another fame-mad guy who lost his grasp on reality after being a star for so long and was living a nightmare of his own making. Hollywood is full of them.
The more I see and read now, the more I feel bad for him☹️. He could have married anyone—someone nice and supportive—but he ended up with this woman, who just seems to embarrass him in every aspect of his life.
She’s in love with a long-dead rapper and has tried to ride his fame into a better career that never materialized. That’s really sad😢.
I broke up with a girl who said I wasn’t as big or important as I once was in the shitty music scene we were in. I didn’t care about it. She did. And if that mattered to her, we weren’t going to work. So, I showed her the door.
If you want to be a real power couple, you both at least have to have some characteristics that play off each other and have the same goals. Like in Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo slot from Quickfire.
The powers in this slot complement each other and work alone, with the common goal of winning you money! Hopefully, that is.
Gameplay
Quickfire Games is releasing a bunch of Power Combo slots these days. I recently reviewed 3 Powers of Zeus Power Combo slot, but I also know of Dark Water Power Combo slot, which was released about a month ago as well.
The main mechanic in these titles is the 3 Power features that can be activated by special different colored symbols when they land; in Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo slot’s case, the Link & Win Bonus Game.
Instead of using Free Spins in this title, the developers have borrowed the Link & Win Re-spin feature from Gold Coin Studios, a popular feature in numerous other games.
But they also added the Super Bonus, which is played after the Bonus Game if you trigger it. Check out the features section below for more on the Bonus Game and Super Bonus and what you can expect.
Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo slot is also high volatility, and as expected, the biggest payout peaks at $250,000 if you’re all in and betting $50 per spin and manage to line things up to hit the 5,000x multiplier, that is.
The betting range actually starts at $0.20 and has plenty of options above that to suit any player.
Unfortunately, if you choose crypto as your betting currency, you can give this slot a skip. You can only play with fiat currencies, with the exception of the Japanese yen and Russian ruble.
Once you get past the starting screen, you’ll see a set of 5 reels with 3 rows. There are 20 paylines to land 3 or more matching symbols, starting from the leftmost reel, to create a win.
Amazonian jungle creatures represent the high-paying symbols, which align with the Aztec theme. The highest-paying symbols start with a tree frog, a snake, an eagle, and the most valuable, a puma.
The Wild symbol here is an Aztec pyramid with WILD over it. It can substitute for all symbols except the Coin symbols and only appears on reels 2 to 5.
Lastly, this slot has an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96.24%.
Features
LINK & WIN
The 3 Coin symbols—purple, green, and blue—can randomly trigger the Link & Win Bonus whenever they land. Each Coin is collected in the pot of the same color above the reels.
Which Power Combo features you’re awarded depends on the combination of the Coin symbols that are collected when you trigger the Link & Win Bonus Game.
The Purple Coin symbol awards the Multiplier Bonus: on every Re-spin, a 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier is randomly awarded and applied to all the Link & Win symbols that landed on that spin.
The Green Coin symbol awards the Double Bonus: Another set of 5 x 3 reels is added to the Bonus Game, which behaves in the same way as the standard reels.
The Blue Coin symbol awards the Instant Collect Bonus. This adds a special Collect symbol to the reels that, if it lands, will collect all the values of the Link & Win symbols present on the reels and add the total to your final prize. After the symbol collects, it turns into a random Link & Win symbol with a random value.
You can trigger more than 1 Power Combo feature. If the Multipliers and Double Bonus features are triggered together, the multiplier selected is applied to both sets of reels.
If the Multiplier and Instant Collect Bonus are triggered together, the Multiplier selected is only applied to the Collect symbol after it transforms into a normal Link & Win symbol.
If the Instant Collect and Double Bonus are triggered simultaneously, the Collect symbol only collects the Link & Win symbols on its set of reels.
At the start of this feature, you’re taken to a new set of reels where the positions spin independently.
The reels only contain sticky Link & Win symbols that look like gold Aztec coins, which award prizes ranging from 0.25x to 500x your bet, plus the Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpot prizes.
All the Link & Win symbols that land are sticky and stay in position until the end of the feature, and any new symbol that lands resets the Re-spins to 3.
The only other symbols on the reels during this feature are the Diamond symbols, which you can read about under the Super Booster section below.
The feature ends when you run out of Re-spins, and you’re awarded the sum total of all the Link & Win symbols present on the reels.
Unless you manage to fill all 15 positions with Link & Win symbols, at which point the game will end and award you the Mega Jackpot.
SUPER BOOSTER
As I mentioned, during the Link & Win feature, Diamond symbols can randomly appear on the reels.
These Diamond symbols don’t reset the number of Re-spins and are not sticky; instead, they are collected on the Super Booster wheel, which sits partially hidden above the reels.
You need to collect 5 of these symbols to unlock the Super Booster feature, which is played at the end of the Link & Win Bonus, before you’re returned to the base game.
The Super Booster wheel has two wheels: one inner wheel, which spins first to determine how many spins you’ll be awarded: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10 Free Spins.
The outer wheel will then spin and each spin, will determine the value of a prize: 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, or 25x your bet, which will be added to a randomly selected Link & Win symbol prize.
The same symbol can be selected on different spins of the Super Boost Wheel.
JACKPOTS
There are 4 static Jackpots available in this slot.
- Mini Jackpot = 10x your bet.
- Minor Jackpot = 50x your bet.
- Major Jackpot = 500x your bet.
- Mega Jackpot = 5,000x your bet.
WIN BOOSTER
You can guarantee the Super Booster feature at the end of the Link & Win Bonus Game in the base game for 2x your bet.
Performance
I tried Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo slot out on my Windows laptop and Android phone. It played like a dream on Edge, Chrome, and DuckDuckGo.
Maximum Win
The most you can win on this slot is $250,000, by way of the 5,000x multiplier. That’s if you’re betting at the top of the $0.20 to $50 range.
Conclusion
Compared to the Powers of Zeus Power Combo slot, I prefer Aztec Triple Riches Power Combo slot and the Power Combo features it offers. The extra set of reels, win multipliers, and instant collect are far more useful to me.
You may only get 3 Re-spins in the Link & Win Bonus Game compared to the 10 Free Spins in the Powers of Zeus Power Combo slot, but even with just 1 of the Power Combo features active, it felt like there was more action here.
There is no Buy Bonus, but there is an Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. that will guarantee you trigger the Super Boost feature, which is a great little Bonus within a Bonus to pump up your total win at the end of the Link & Win game.
The game looks really good compared to some of the other Quickfire Games titles that I have seen lately, which you probably have to credit the studio that put this together for them.
You may not be a high-roller and be able to afford the $50 bet per spin, so this is probably more aimed at penny slot players, but it holds enough potential to attract players of all kinds.
If you’re looking for a new slot that can get your adrenaline pumping, nothing beats the Link & Win feature. I say give this one a go and see for yourself.
