Banana Farm Slot Review
I just read about an Australian javelin thrower, Reg Spiers, who shipped himself in a wooden crate on an airplane ✈️ from London to Perth after he ran out of money.
The flight was a multi-stop route via Europe and Asia that took around 60 to 63 hours in total. Apparently, the crate was mishandled and left inverted in Bombay in severe heat 🔥 for several hours.
Now, if you think that’s bananas 🍌, wait till you play Banana Farm slot from Hacksaw. Hopefully, we can make some money and travel like regular people.
Gameplay
Hacksaw has taken a more minimalist, but no less impressively designed route with Banana Farm slot. The 6-reel, 4-row grid is positioned in a clearing in a tropical forest, so we see palm trees, grass, and sky, but not much else.
The symbols are comprised of the usual 10, J, Q, K, A, as well as an Orange, Watermelon, Strawberry, and Banana. There’s also a Wild, which substitutes for all symbols in the paytable.
Looking at the stats reveals 14 paylines, a 96.33% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., and a high volatility rate. The max multiplier is a whopping 25,000x, and the max win is $250,000 – that’s what I like to see! There are no currency restrictions, so you can go bananas with the currency of your choice.
Switching to a mobile phone in portrait mode reveals that the background has been stripped away, so what you get is the grid stretching from one side of the screen to the other.
In landscape mode, you’ll get the same view as on a laptop, but the grid is actually rather small relative to the screen real estate. I’d opt for portrait mode.
Features
WILD REELS:
Wild Reels – which are palm trees that extend the length of the reel (these are Expanded Wilds) – can land on any reel. They can also carry a random multiplier of 2x - 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, or 100x.
If more than one Wild Reel is part of a winning combo, their multipliers are added together and then applied to your win.
GO BANANAS (FREE SPINS):
Trigger this feature with at least 3 Scatters for 10 spins. Wild Reels need to be unlocked in the Progress Meter, so here’s how it works:
You’ll see a Progress Meter with 6 levels above the grid; you complete a level by collecting 3 additional Scatter symbols. Complete a level and you’ll be granted 1 sticky Wild Reel and 1 to 3 additional spins.
BANANA PLANTATION (SUPER FREE SPINS):
This Free Spins version takes 4 Scatter symbols to trigger, and it does what the regular one does, but you start on Level 1 of the Progress Meter – in other words, you get a sticky Wild Reel from the start.
BUY BONUS:
Bonushunt Featurespins: This Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. costs 2x your regular bet but each spin is 3x more likely to trigger one of the Free Spin games.
Wild Tree Featurespins: This Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. costs 50x per spin but each spin guarantees at least 2 Wild Reels.
Free Spins: Pay 100x for this feature, or 200x for Banana Plantation.
Performance
Playing on my phone or tablet was no different from my laptop, in terms of loading time or performance.
Maximum Win
Betting starts at $0.10 and is capped at $10. The max multiplier is 25,000x, and the max win is $250,000.
Conclusion
This game’s hit frequency is 33%, meaning that approximately 1 in 3 base game spins results in a win.
What’s cool about the Free Spins rounds is the Progress Meter; it shows you what’s happening, as opposed to some games where the feature expires and you’re left wondering what the hell happened.
The additive multiplier system, when combined with the max bet, is what can get you to the 25,000x max multiplier. And, of course, Banana Plantation, with its guaranteed Wild Reel, is where you wanna be as you’ve jumped to Level 1; that’s a 16.7% reduction in Scatter collection already.
My main concern is the 14 paylines on a 6x4 grid setup – this reduces the effectiveness of Wild Reels – and the multiplier distribution, which is heavily skewed towards the lower values (9 out of 15 possibilities).
The 2x Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. represents exceptional ROI for players who want to enjoy longer sessions, while the 50x Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. is the worst option. I also wouldn’t go for the regular Buy Bonus if I were an aggressive player, but for the 200x option.

Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).
The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.: High
