Bass Cash Diamond X UP Slot Review

If you think about it, fishing 🎣 is basically dating. You sit around for hours, tossing bait into the void, hoping something—anything—bites. You might get a nibble, maybe even a full-on bite, but most of the time you're just staring at still water.

And when you do catch something, odds are it’s not what you wanted. It's either too small, weird-looking, or fights back harder than expected. So, like any seasoned fisherman or emotionally exhausted adult, you sigh, maybe take a photo 📷 for proof, and throw it right back.

There’s also the gear obsession. Just like serial daters with their “green flag checklists,” anglers will spend hundreds 💸 on high-tech lures and sonar gadgets thinking it’ll change their luck. Spoiler: it won’t.

Whether it’s love or slimy seabass, the one you’re chasing is always in another lake. But, don’t give up, because maybe, just maybe, the next cast will be the one. ❤️‍🔥

Here’s Bass Cash Diamond X UP slot from Quickfire. 🐟

Gameplay

Who’s up for fishing? Analyzing the sub-surface backdrop, two things stick out. For starters, by the way the Red Whip Coral sways in the bottom left, you’d think a hurricane was blowing through the water. Secondly, there’s a school of fish that speeds past now and again.

The 5-reel, 5-row grid floats around without any support, which makes a lot of sense considering the theme. What is a bit confusing though is the highest-paying symbols. On top of a fishing rod, some gear, and a tackle box, there’s a golden lab wearing earmuffs and holding a fish in its mouth.

It’s a pretty busy scene overall. In the top left are Jackpots: the Mini pays 15x, the Minor pays 50x, the Major pays 250x, and the Mega pays 1,000x.

Just below is the X UP Trail. This is a major part of the game, which I’ll get into in the Features section below. You can also find the icon for the Buy Bonus in the top right corner.

The game is built on the following stats: 1,024 ways, a 96.20% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, a very high volatility rate, a 15,500x max multiplier, and a $248,000 max win.

Only fiat currency is accepted, with the exception of the yen and ruble.

Features

CASH COLLECT

The Fisherman Collect symbol appears on reels 1 and 5. Once one of them lands, it collects any Cash or Jackpot value on the grid. If you land two Fishermen, all values will be collected twice!

Cash symbols - Possible values range from 0.2x to 10x

Jackpots - The Mini pays 15x, the Minor pays 50x, the Major pays 250x, and the Mega pays 1,000x

All of these symbols can show up in both the base game and during Free Spins.

X UP TRAIL

This is all about collecting X UP tokens to increase your multiplier in the X UP trail on the left. Your active multiplier is applied for all Cash Prize winnings during Free Spins, with one exception.

When you land the Gold X UP Scatter, the multiplier will be applied to your Cash and Jackpot wins in the base game.

2 Red Scatters collect 1 X UP token and bumps you up one level on the trail.

2 Blue Scatters permanently upgrade your level, starting at the top. When the X UP Trail turns blue, any 2 Blue Scatters will bring the top level multiplier to 15x.

1 Diamond Scatter on reel 1 applies to the top-level multiplier to any Cash or Jackpot wins on that spin.

FREE SPINS

Landing 3 Red Scatters in the base game triggers 8 Free Spins with the Active X UP Cash and Jackpot Prize multiplier. If you land 2 Diamond Scatters, 8 Free Spins are triggered with the current maximum multiplier.

During Free Spins, all Cash and Jackpot prizes are multiplied by your active X UP multiplier.

2 Red Scatters award 2 additional spins and a 1X UP Token multiplier

2 Diamond Scatters awards 2 extra spins

Upsizer

When Free Spins have been triggered, you can choose to activate a higher multiplier for a set price.

Bonus Recharge

At the end of Free Spins, you can choose to spin again for a calculated cost.

BASS CASH BONUS

If you look closely, you can see 5 empty spaces above the grid. When you land a Bonus symbol, it will be collected and fill the empty slot. Once you’ve filled all 5 spaces, the Bass Cash Bonus feature is activated.

With an expanded Fisherman Collect symbol locked to reel 1, the rest of the reels will only show Cash symbols and Trophy symbols. Any Cash value is collected, while the Trophy symbols are collected above the reels.

You’ll continue to spin until 3 of a kind trophies have been collected, awarding the associated Jackpot.

BUY BONUS

For players curious about the Buy Bonus, you can choose to trigger 8 Free Spins with a 15x multiplier on your next spin for 150x.

Performance

I didn’t run into any issues at all while playing.

Max Win

You can bet anywhere from $0.20 to $16. If you’re looking to hunt down the $248,000 max win, you need to hit the 15,500x max multiplier on a $16 bet.

Conclusion

This is one of those slots that throws the kitchen sink at you—Cash Collects, progressive multipliers, scattered jackpot tiers, two kinds of Free Spins, Upsizers, Recharges, and a Bonus on top of the Bonus. It sounds great on paper, but in practice, it can be a bit messy.

The base game hit rate is decent, sitting around 31–33%, and you’ll hit Free Spins roughly once every 130–160 spins. You can skip the line with the Buy Bonus, but the 150x is a bit steep.

And while the X UP trail is a solid mechanic, the constant drip-feed of scatter types and multipliers can make it hard to tell where you actually stand at times.

The Bass Cash Bonus adds even more complexity, requiring you to collect 5 symbols across a long stretch of spins just to enter a mini-feature that may or may not pay out. It’s fun when it hits, but the pacing feels padded, and it’s not always worth the wait.

Overall, the graphics and everything that’s happening on the screen feels more overwhelming than engaging at times. It tries to be innovative, but often feels busy rather than smart.

With a very high volatility, and a 15,500x max multiplier, there’s undeniable potential. But most of the value is buried deep in the bonus layers, and unless you’re buying in or playing long sessions, you might not feel it.

If you're a fan of fishing games but wish they came with more buttons, multipliers, and layers of strategy—you’ll be right at home. For everyone else, this might feel more exhausting than exciting.
