Bass Cash X Up Slot Review
I’ve heard of Golden Retrievers swimming out to grab a duck that’s been shot, but I ain’t never known one to swim out to retrieve a fish 🐟. And yet, that’s what’s going on in Bass Cash X Up slot from Quickfire.
I guess you can train dogs 🐶 to do many interesting things. Like undo bikini tops 👙 while chicks are sitting on the beach; that’s one I’d train my pooch to do, for sure!
“I’m sorry, ma’am, I don’t know what got over him. He’s usually so well-behaved! I’m really embarrassed now, so I’d like to make it up to you. Could I take you and the twins out for dinner?” 😎 Giggety.
Gameplay
Here we go again: another underwater, fishing-themed game, but this one does come with a twist: dogs. Yeah, I wasn’t expecting that either.
You’ll see the puppies on the reels with fish in their mouths, along with tackle boxes, lures, and fishing reels and rods. How exciting.
There are 3 types of Scatters: red, blue, and gold, and they’re labeled “X UP”. Red Scatters appear anywhere in the base game, but on reels 1 and 5 during Free Spins and they pay anywhere.
Blue Scatters only appear in the base game, on reels 1 and 5, and Gold Scatters only grace reel 1 during the base game.
Wilds replace all symbols that aren’t Scatters, Bonus, Cash, Jackpot, or Collect symbols.
You can win across 1,024 paylines and the game boasts a 96.20% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., and a volatility rate that’s classified as very high. To offset this risk, you stand to win $247,500, and the max multiplier tips the scales at 15,000x.
You’ll need to bet with fiat money, but as usual, not the ruble or yen.
Features
CASH COLLECT:
As with most, if not all fishing-themed games, the Fisherman collects Fish/Cash symbols, along with Jackpot Trophy symbols. If there are 2 Fishermen on the reels, they’ll collect Jackpot and Cash prizes twice. Nice.
There are 3 types of Cash symbols: one has a value of 1.5x to 3x, the second has values of 5x to 10x, and the third one is 0.2x to 1x.
Jackpots can be Mini (pays 15x), Minor (pays 50x), Major (pays 250x), or Mega (pays 1,000x).
As a final note, Jackpots, Cash symbols and Fishermen can appear in the base game and during the Free Spins round.
X UP FEATURE:
See that meter to the left of the screen? Collecting X Up tokens helps you climb the trail and by doing so, you’ll increase the multiplier level.
This active multiplier applies to Jackpots and Cash Prizes you score during the Free Spins round.
Scatters also have a role to play:
Gold Scatters apply the active multiplier to Jackpots and Cash Prizes during the base game
2 Red Scatters grab 1x Up tokens
2 Blue Scatters in the base game will permanently upgrade the multiplier trail, starting with the top multiplier (that multiplier will turn blue). When the entire trail turns blue, landing 2 Blue Scatters will double the top multiplier to 15x
FREE SPINS:
Land 3 Red Scatters in the base game to trigger this round, and you’ll be awarded 8 spins. The Active X Up Multiplier will now bolster all Cash and Jackpot prizes.
Land 2 more Red Scatters for 2 additional spins plus a 1x X Up token.
When the round begins, though, you can opt to activate a higher Jackpot Prize Multiplier or X Up Cash Prize for some extra moolah. Thankfully, collecting X Up tokens reduces the cost of the multipliers.
BASS CASH BONUS:
Landing a Bonus symbol will see it collected in the meter above the reels. Fill all 5 spaces on the meter and the feature will kick off.
You’ll see a fully expanded Fisherman on reel 1, while reels 2 to 5 will have Cash Prizes and Jackpot Trophy symbols. The Fisherman will collect any Cash prizes that land.
Trophies, in turn, will be collected above the reels, and the feature continues until 3 similar Trophies have been collected. At this point, their respective Jackpots will pay out.
BUY BONUS:
Pay an eye-watering 150x your bet for 8 Free Spins and a 15x Cash and Jackpot multiplier.
Performance
I tested this game on all my devices and used Safari and Chrome – there were no issues.
Maximum Win
Here’s some good news: because the 15,000x max multiplier is so large, you’ll only need to bet $16.50 per spin to be in the running for the $247,500 top prize. The minimum amount you can bet is $0.20.
Conclusion
OK, so the studio has given us something a little different from the norm, which I appreciate. And no, I’m not talking about the dog with the fish but rather the features and the fact that you can win a Jackpot.
The fact of the matter is that this game carries a lot of risk, so at least the studio is offsetting that with the opportunity to score big.
Bass Cash X Up slot links up with the success of the Big Bass series but puts enough of a spin on the game to make it their own and outshine the OG version.

PaylinesPaylines are preset lines that run across the reels, and when you land matching symbols on them, that will result in a payout. The more paylines, the more ways you can win, but also the higher your bet per spin.: 1,024 ways to win

Volatility RateSlot games can have low, medium, high, or extremely high volatility rates (or a combination thereof).
The less volatile the game, the more often it should pay out, but the lower the amount, the less the payout, as this is in keeping with the risk you’re taking. Volatility rate should be considered in conjunction with a game’s RTP.: Very High
