Bells of Fortune Slot Review
Everyone in America knows about the Liberty Bell đ, but do you know which bell is the largest ever cast? That honor goes to the Tsar Bell in Moscow. That behemoth weighs 180 tons (the Liberty Bell is an anemic 2,080 pounds by comparison).
There was a larger bell than the Tsar one â it was called the Great Bell of Dhammazedi. Forged in 1484 in Myanmar, the bell was lost in a river and never recovered. Iâm unsure how the hell you lose a 330-ton bell, but there you have it. đ¤ˇââď¸
Next up is Bells of Fortune slot by VoltEnt. I know this wasnât the most inspiring intro ever, but we have a lot to get through, so letâs jump to it.
Gameplay
VoltEnt has released a whole whack of these sorts of games over the years, so youâll be familiar with the variable volatility rate, the variable spin speed, the Chance Level meter, and so on. In case youâre not, weâll be covering all aspects of the game, so donât worry.
This 4-reel game is, despite its old-school and frankly unattractive appearance, very mobile-friendly. Thatâs thanks to the massive symbols and a grid that stretches from left to right of the screen in portrait mode. The controls on a mobile phone are also large and easy to operate.
To the right of the grid are the Jackpots you can win in the Hold the Jackpot Bonus game. The Mini pays 10x, the Minor pays 20x, the Major pays 50x, and the Grand pays 1,000x. To the left is the Chance Level (more on that later).
There are no Wilds or Scatters here, but Bonus symbols (gold coins) are what award money and get you into the gameâs features. Plus, wins are only won in the Hold the Jackpot or Bells of Fortune rounds, and thatâs coz the game has no paylines.
As for the rest of the stats, it goes like this: 96.15% RTPRTP stands for âReturn to Player.â The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a gameâs volatility rate., a 1,000x max multiplier, and a $100,000 max win (all currencies are available). Yeah, those stats ainât great, but thatâs what you get for being able to fiddle with the volatility.
Features
CASH INFINITY:
These symbols should be familiar if youâve played one of these games before. They can appear randomly in the base game and stick to the reels in the Hold the Jackpot game. If these symbols land on the highlighted central reels, your chances of triggering the bonus game are increased.
Cash Infinity symbols carry values of 5x to 10x.
HOLD THE JACKPOT BONUS:
Land 4 Bonus symbols simultaneously in the base game to trigger this feature. All triggering and new Bonus symbols will stick to the reels, youâll get 3 re-spins to start with, and so on and so forth â you know how this plays out.
Cash symbols with values of 1x to 5x can land, along with Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpot symbols. You can win multiple Jackpots in the same round.
Collector symbols grab the values of Cash and Cash Infinity symbols, and then multiply these randomly by 1x to 20x.
Mystery symbols can transform into Bonus symbols (not Cash infinity ones, though). Jackpot Mystery symbols transform into Mini, Minor, or Major Jackpots.
BELLS OF FORTUNE:
See that matrix to the right of the grid? This is where Bell symbols are saved when they land. Fill the matrix, and this feature kicks off.
This is a Pick and ClickPick & Click games present you with several options, in the form of items you need to select. Choosing an item will reveal whatâs beneath â perhaps a cash prize or a Mystery symbol that can transform into something else. This format puts control in your hands. round, so youâll be taken to a new screen where thereâs no matrix, but the grid is filled with âCLICK MEâ symbols. Click on 3 cells to reveal your prize.
You might click on a +1 CLICK symbol; thatâll give you one more pick. Else, your picks could reveal a Grand Mystery symbol, Multiplier, Cash symbol, or any of the Jackpots, including the Grand one.
Grand Mystery symbols transform into Cash, Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand Jackpots. The Multiplier starts at 1x, but this value is boosted when Multiplier symbols land with 1x to 9x values.
When the round ends, youâll be paid the sum of the prizes youâve collected after theyâve been bolstered by the Multiplier (the latter doesnât apply to the Grand Jackpot).
CHANCE LEVEL:
As with previous VoltEnt games, youâll be able to set the Chance Level manually during the base game.
Chance Level x2: Your bet is doubled, but you have a 2x better chance of activating a feature
Chance Level x5: Your bet is increased by 5x, but you have a 5x better chance of activating a feature
Chance Level x10: Your bet is increased by 10x, but you have a 10x better chance of activating a feature

Performance
Testing revealed no issues with this game, and it loaded just fine on all my devices.
Maximum Win
Betting starts at $0.10 and is capped at $100. The max multiplier is 1,000x, and the max win is $100,000.
Conclusion
Bells of Fortune slot reminds me a lot of 12 Bells slot. The latter has the Cash Infinity symbols and the Jackpot game (of course), there are Mystery symbols, the Matrix, the Chance Level, and thereâs also the 12 Bells Bonus game.
Other versions, such as 15 Coins slot, are missing some of the ingredients (no second feature, Mystery symbols, or a Matrix), but in the end, they all follow more or less the same recipe.
Why would you choose the current game over the others? It offers more in terms of a full range of features and better stats.
For someone like me who has reviewed too many of these games, they all blend into each other. I still appreciate the ability to select the volatility rate, but that comes at a price (the low max multiplier and max win), and this might not suit some of you.
