Big Bounty Bill Slot Review
If ever there was a slot working specifically to celebrate the Wild West, Big Bounty Bill from Kalamba Games is it. The Wild West was, well, wild. Frankly, I don’t think I would have stood a chance. For one, I’m not good at shooting guns, and another thing is that I truly hate the heat. Luckily, I don’t have to stress about it too much.
Gameplay
Big Bounty Bill is a 5-reel, 1,024-payline video slot from Kalamba. This slot is all about the Wild West, with a futuristic cowboy vibe and a bit of an edge. Symbols include a horse and bull, a female villain, a male villain with a gun, a male villain with a cigar (possibly Bill himself), and royal values from 9 to Ace. There’s also a Wild symbol, Bonus symbol, and Expansion symbol.
The controls are located below the reels and work as follows: Settings, Balance, Bet, Spin Counter, Win, Total Win, and Spin.
Features
The Wild can substitute for all symbols except the Bonus and Expansion symbols. That’s really all there is to it.
Unique Features
Now this is where things get interesting. There are a number of features that improve Big Bounty Bill’s gameplay, including the Expansion feature. Landing Expansion symbols triggers blocker tiles, which can be shot 1, 2 or 4 times respectively. During the main game, this makes a hole in the tile where the correct number of hits have been made. Then, if 3, 4 or 5 Expansion symbols land, 3, 5 or 7 Hyperspins are triggered.
During Hyperspins, any blockers with holes are removed. Expansion symbols will continue to land, creating extra Hyperspins. This way, the gameboard can grow to 5x7 reels with 16,807 paylines.
The Sheriff Bonus symbol triggers 8 free spins, when three or more of them land on the reels. Finally, the Hyperbonus can be triggered by the player. All you have to do is hit the blue button next to the reels. This way, Hyperspins can be triggered, without the need for Expansion symbols. You can trigger 8, 15, 20 or 25 spins this way, with 45x, 107x, 164x, and 229x the bet.
Performance
Big Bounty Bill boasts some seriously memorable graphics and sound effects. This slot is as close to experiencing the Wild West as many of us will ever get to.
Max Win
The max coin win is 5,000x the stake.
Conclusion
The potential payouts of this slot are solid, but the features are where Big Bounty Bill really shines. This slot is one of the many jewels in Kalamba Games’ crown, and it shines on through.
