Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Extreme Slot Review

Why does the bison have to be on fire in Quickfire’ Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Extreme slot🎰? Isn’t that just roast beef🍖? Even if it isn’t, I’d be more interested in playing a roast beef-themed slot than another bison🦬 slot.

Gameplay

Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Extreme slot is a fiat currency-only game with the exception of the Japanese yen and Russian ruble. You can bet as low as $0.20 and as high as $45. There is a highest possible multiplier of 5,500x, which can award as much as $247,500.

You play on 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win. The high symbols include a buffalo, 7, bell, horseshoe, and dice. The Wild is a hoodoo, one of those tall, thin rock spires you see in Westerns, and it can stand in for any of the regular pay symbols.

The Wild only lands on reels 2 to 6 and doesn’t stand in for the sheriff badge Scatter symbol, the lightning bolt Collect symbol, and a gold square Cash symbol, which carry a random value between 0.2x and 20x in the base game.

Before we delve into the features, it's important to note that this game boasts a 96% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. and very high volatility.

Features

BONUS MULTIPLER

When 2 Scatters land on reels 1 to 5 during the base game, a Bonus Multiplier above the reels increases by 0.5x up to a maximum of 5x. Every win during Free Spins and Gold Blitz is subject to this multiplier.

The Bonus Multiplier resets to 1x after Free Spins and Gold Blitz and can randomly increase by 0.5x or 1x.

COLLECT FEATURE

Collect symbols only appear on reels 1 and 6, and Cash symbols appear on all the reels in the base game and Gold Blitz feature. Whenever a Collect and Cash symbol land alongside each other, each Collect symbol collects and awards all Cash symbols on the reels.

RE-SPINS

When a Collect symbol lands on reels 1 or 6 without any Cash symbols to collect, the reel or reels containing the Collect symbols lock, respin the remaining reels, and guarantee the landing and payout of 1 or more Cash symbols.

GOLD BLITZ

When you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters, you can choose to trigger 2, 3, 5, or 7 spins in the Gold Blitz.

During Gold Blitz, Cash symbols can award 0.2x to 100x your bet. Only the Collect, Cash, Collect Retrigger, and Retrigger symbols appear on the reels. All positions on the reels start out empty. The Collect symbol lands on reel 1 on every spin and can appear on reel 6.

The Collect Retrigger awards 1 additional spin and collects all the Cash symbols on the reels. The Retrigger symbol just awards 1 additional spin.

FREE SPINS

Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters lets you choose to play 8, 12, 20, or 30 Free Spins, respectively. During this round, Wilds only appear on reels 2 to 4 and gain a 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier randomly when they land, which applies to any winning ways it contributes to.

During Free Spins, the symbols 7, bell, horseshoe, dice, Cash, and Collect disappear from the game. When you land 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters, you will receive 5, 8, 12, 20, or 30 additional Free Spins, respectively.

JACKPOTS

Whenever Cash symbols land and no Collect symbol appears to award them, they each increase 1 of the 4 Jackpots randomly by 0.1x to 1x your bet amount. Whenever this occurs, there is a chance you’ll trigger the Jackpot feature.

The Jackpot feature is a pick feature, where you click to reveal either the Jackpot symbols or Cash symbols valued between 0.2x and 20x your bet. You can win the Jackpots more than once.

Once won, the Jackpot resets to its starting value; subsequent wins of the same Jackpot return the initial value.

  • The Mini Jackpot starts at 10x and can increase to a maximum of 50x your bet.
  • The Minor Jackpot starts at 20x and can increase to a maximum of 100x your bet.
  • The Major Jackpot starts at 200x and can increase to a maximum of 500x your bet.
  • The Mega Jackpot starts at 2,000x and can increase to a maximum of 5,000x your bet.

BUY BONUS

You can pay for a guaranteed number of Scatter symbols to trigger the Bonus Choice, which can trigger Free Spins or Gold Blitz.

  • For 30x your bet, 3 Scatters will trigger a choice between 8 Free Spins or 2 Gold Blitz spins
  • For 50x your bet, 4 Scatters will trigger a choice between 12 Free Spins or 3 Gold Blitz spins
  • For 80x your bet, 5 Scatters will trigger a choice between 20 Free Spins or 5 Gold Blitz spins
  • For 120x your bet, 6 Scatters will trigger a choice between 30 Free Spins or 7 Gold Blitz spins

Performance

I tested this game out on my Android phone and gaming laptop and I didn’t encounter any malfunctions or loading issues.

Maximum Win

This game is capped at $247,500. To win that prize, you’ll need to place the highest bet in the range, from $0.20 to $45, and hit the game’s top multiplier of 5,500x.

Conclusion

This game may have a repetitive theme, but all the features that can help create winning opportunities make up for it.

The accumulative Win Bonus, Collect feature, and Re-spins make the base game far more entertaining and exciting. The Bonus Games themselves are pretty basic, but they can lead to potentially big wins, and you can extend them by landing the right symbols.

The Buy Bonus symbols are surprisingly affordable compared to other similar slots, which is a huge plus in my opinion, but you’ll have to decide if they’re worth the cost and risk.
