Blessed Dragon Hold and Win Slot Review

Every year brings new opportunities, challenges, and, according to Chinese culture, the spirit of some sort of animal. So it turns out that 2024 is the year of the Dragon.

I am a Horse, according to the Chinese astrological charts, meaning I’m all about vibes of elegance and ardor. The Horse rocks an irresistibly charming demeanor and tends to be a hit on the popularity charts.

Sounds about right.

The Dragon, on the other hand, embodies attributes such as power, luck, and success. These qualities go perfectly with slot games, and Blessed Dragon Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). slot by Kalamba is a good one. Take it from the Horse’s mouth.

Gameplay

The game is designed around a traditional 5x3-reel grid with 20 paylines and plays well on mobile devices. The controls are as simple as pie, and even as a lefty, I had no problem playing this game.

To the left of the reels, you’ll see purple, green, and red accumulator circles featuring thresholds (represented as percentages). These numbers are boosted by K-Cash symbols (represented by Gongs) landing on the reels.

New Gongs won’t add any value once the thresholds are filled. We’ll dive into more detail about this modifier in the Features section below.

Features

K-CASH SPINS:

K-Cash Spins is the Hold & Win feature of the game. You'll trigger it when 3 or more Gongs appear in any position. Once triggered, you are awarded 3 spins, you lucky Dragon! Each new Gong that lands, resets the spin counter.

When a Golden Gong lands, it will reveal its color and increase the percentage in the corresponding accumulator.

Before the K-Cash round starts, one of the modifiers listed below will come into play. It will be selected via a spinning wheel.

Green Gongs
These get a Prize Booster modifier. When this modifier is active during K-Cash spins, all K-Cash symbols can randomly increase their current value from 0.1x to 5x.

Purple Gongs
These trigger a One Up modifier, which increases the number of spins by 1.

Red Gongs
Red Gongs get the Duo Reels feature, which lets you play K-Cash spins on two separate grids. Triggering locked Gongs are copied onto the additional grid, maintaining the same cash value and position.

Resetting the spin counter works independently for each grid, which means one grid’s gameplay can last longer than the other. The K-Cash Spins round continues until you run out of spins.

Once you run out of spins, the total value of the Gongs will be boosted by the percentage figure that's been collected by the accumulator (the one that was randomly selected at the beginning of the round).

If you’re lucky enough to fill all the positions on the grid, a K-Cash Bonus is awarded to the player at the end of the feature.

GAMBLE FEATURE:

Once the K-Cash Bonus is paid out, the game allows you to gamble your winnings using a simple spinning wheel that offers the possibility of a 2x multiplier. Simply click on the Gamble button, and the wheel will start spinning. The wheel can either land on 2x or on a blank slot.

You can double your money up to three times. Hit a losing slot, and you lose your bet.

There are three Buy Bonus options to choose from:

The first and most basic adds a randomly chosen K-Cash modifier ( Prize Booster, One Up, or Duo Reels) for 81x your bet. Performance

Maximum Win

The betting range isn’t massively broad; you place bets between $0.50 and $25, which makes it lighter on the pockets compared to similar games. The max multiplier is a sky-high 10,000x, and the top payout is a fire-breathing $250,000.

Conclusion

The year of the dragon has truly arrived! Blessed Dragon Hold and WinThis feature plays out on a new screen. Typically, you get 3 re-spins (which could be re-triggered), and the triggering symbols usually stick to the position on which they land. Your objective is to land as many symbols as possible on the grid (you could land blank tiles, too). slot is one of many mythical Asian slot games on the market, but it pulls off its gameplay with impressive flair and solid game mechanics.

This slot game offers an exciting Hold & Win feature, good Buy Bonus options, generous max multiplier and payout stats, and a bunch of modifiers, which makes this a pretty unique game.

And it's those modifiers that can make this game a bit tricky for beginners, which is why I recommend it for intermediate-level players and above.

As an added bonus, the game design is easy on the eye, and the mobile experience is smooth and without issue. I’d just mute the soundtrack as soon as possible.

Try this game out and see if the Year of the Dragon truly brings luck and success!
