Bonsai Babies Slot Review

I know this is taboo to say, but anything babies legitimately freaks me out. I don’t understand how something so small can be functional, and I’m absolutely terrified of hurting one by mistake. On the few occasions that I’ve been forced to take care of one, I’ve broken out into tremors and a cold sweat. Who knew they’re that resilient? Note to self don’t humiliate yourself even further by attempting to care for a baby bonsai, sending my confidence levels from hero to zero is not even mildly intriguing.

Gameplay

Bonsai Babies is a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot from Lucky. Symbols include four Chinese babies and royal values from 9 to Ace. The Wild is represented by a temple, and the Scatter by fireworks.

Controls are located below the reels and work as follows: settings, paytable, bet per line +/-, auto play, spin, and balance.

Features

The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. The baby symbols are Wild during free spins.

Unique Features

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters will trigger free spins, during which the baby symbols act as extra Wilds.

Performance

Bonsai Babies kind of has an old school look, and the design of the babies isn’t doing anything to help me overcome my fear of infants. Still, it’s easy to overlook design flaws when gameplay is so good.

Max Win

The max coin win is 30 (pretty weak to be fair).

Conclusion

If you’re looking for something lighthearted, Bonsai Babies should do the trick for you. There aren’t any bells and whistles to this slot, so it’s not particularly special. Still, it should do the job if you’re looking for a slot that’s simple and offers regular payouts.
