It was bound to happen. The classic fruit slot has merged with the overused book-style mechanic, combining into my worst nightmare. If you are familiar with my reviews, you will know that I have served my time and paid my dues when it comes to fruit slots. So before I land up serving time for real, let’s get this over with shall we?
Gameplay
Book of Fruits is a 5x3 reel, 5 payline video slot powered by Amatic software. Symbols include Cherries, Oranges, Lemons, Grapes, Plums, Watermelons, Bars, Bells, and 7s. The only Special Symbol is the Book Wild and Scatter that triggers the Bonus Spins Feature. More detail will be given in the Features section.
As far as controls go, on the top right-hand side, you will find the Home Icon (taking you back to the lobby) beneath that a Question mark Icon that expands to the Paytable and Game Rules, followed by Mute and Settings Icons. Below the reels, you will find the Win window and below that from left to right is the Balance window, adjustable Line window and Bet window. Next is the Max Bet, Autoplay and Spin buttons with increase and decrease Bet buttons on either side of the Spin button.

As a Wild, the Book Wild Scatter substitutes for all symbols in forming potential winning combinations.
As a Scatter, land 3 or more Book Wild Scatters to trigger the Bonus Spins Feature, awarding 10 Bonus Spins. You will then receive a randomly selected symbol as the expanding symbol during the feature. It is possible to retrigger the feature.

Book of Fruits provides absolutely nothing we haven't seen before, besides the fact of using fruits in a book-style mechanic slot. The volatility is medium and the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

Conclusion
In a word, yawn! Perhaps Amatic Industries didn't realize that it is, in fact, 2020 to have released this slot in 2020. We expect more from providers than this. However, in terms of the purpose of gaming, you can land decent wins, that book-style mechanic slots have proven over and over again. If I was given a book of fruits, I would toss it in the fire immediately.
