The next game is a curious one, to be sure, and a great example of how to successfully shoehorn a bunch of themes into a single slot.
Sam the leprechaun is in Las Vegas with his wife and kid and they’re living it up at an Egyptian-themed casino.
You see, Sam is a sucker for all-you-can-eat buffets, Sandra never met an oversized cocktail she didn’t like, and as the babysitter canceled last minute, it meant that their ankle-biter Maggie is along for the ride.
Personally, this sounds like my idea of hell (I mean how are you gonna get to go to all the strip clubs with your wife and kid in tow?) but hey, each to their own.

Gameplay
I’ve already got the twitchy eye, thanks to a factual inaccuracy. One of the symbols on the 5-reel grid is a Sphynx cat. That breed originated in the old US of A, not in Egypt, but since when have facts ever gotten in the way of a studio doing what they do?
Other symbols include our leprechaun family, books with scarab beetles on em (naturally), and the usual lesser symbols. The book is a Wild Scatter, and it substitutes for all other symbols.
A rundown of the stats reveals 10 paylines, a 94% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., and a medium/high volatility rate. The max win is on the money, coming in at a cool $200k.

As you might have guessed, this feature is triggered when 2 landed Sandra symbols form part of a win. The upshot is that the active game multiplier will increase, and re-spins will also be dished out.
Sam Electric Treat Feature:
Not to be left out, if 2 or more Sam symbols land simultaneously as part of a win, this will result in an extra Wild Scatter, which is sticky. Oh, and you’ll also get some re-spins.

I have no complaints regarding the performance of Book of Sam slot. It did its thing magnificently across all my devices and browsers.

Conclusion
There’s a lot to like in Book of Sam slot. While I’m not usually a fan of mixing themes, ELK has done the job so cleverly that I must applaud them. The game translates well onto smaller devices, so it’s an option for on-the-go play.
The Electric Treats didn’t come in as frequently as I expected at the beginning of my testing phase, but that soon changed.
While they don’t deliver anything earth-shattering, the Treats do mix things up and the re-spins and multipliers (which were most frequent) are a welcome benefit. Speaking of things taking a while, those Free Spins were damn elusive so be warned.
The max win is sweet, and the volatility rate is my fav. All-in-all, I’m super pleased with Book of Sam slot and I reckon it’s worth checking out.
