Bounty Bonanza Slot Review
Do you remember that dude with the mullet, Oakley’s, and skin like sun-ripened leather? Yeah, I’m describing Duane “Dog” Chapman from reality TV. Did you know he skipped bail himself? Apparently so.
Word is that he grabbed a guy who went on the run from the States to Mexico. The Mexican authorities stopped the bounty hunters’ vehicle near an airport and arrested everyone, including Chapman. Bounty hunting is considered kidnapping in most countries, after all.
So, Chapman was in jail for 2 weeks before doing a runner and returning to the US. That’s not at all like the clean-cut bounty hunter you’ll find in Bounty Bonanza slot from Amatic.
Gameplay
I love the bold, characterful design of the symbols and the soundtrack is actually a thing of wonder. It feels like it was created alongside the game, rather than just as an add-on.
I wish more studios would use audio in a way that complements the game, rather than being something to ignore or mute.
Oh, and the (portrait) mobile view is so cool! It’s all angles created by the background which pull you visually toward the grid. The studio has also fiddled with the design of the controls, and these fit the aesthetic perfectly. Truly great work on the design front, Amatic!
This medium volatility game is also winning on another front: the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., which is 97.02%. There are 5 bandit symbols on the reels and if you land any 5 of these, you’ll be awarded 100x your bet. If you land 5 of the mustachioed bandit, that number goes up to 1,000x.
As for the max win, you’re looking at €6,000. Sadly, I ain’t kidding – that’s what it is.
Features
FREE SPINS:
All it takes is 3 wanted poster symbols anywhere on the reels for you to be awarded 10 Free Spins (Bonusspins). By the way, you’ll only find these symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the base game.
During the Free Spins round, each bandit gets a bounty on their head. The suave bounty hunter – you’ll know him by his Stetson – will appear. He’ll collect the bounty for each criminal and add this to the win.
EXTRA BET:
If you’ve turned this feature on, it will ensure you’ll see more wanted poster symbols on your reels. That means your chances of scoring those Free Spins is doubled.
Just note that when the Extra Bet option is on, you won’t have access to the Buy Bonus.
BUY BONUS:
This should be fairly familiar. This feature will send you to the Free Spins round for 86x your current bet.
Performance
Bounty Bonanza slot was a straight shooter. I threw hundreds of rounds at it but there wasn’t a single failure or glitch. Fear not the Safari nor the Chrome – these worked perfectly for me.
Maximum Win
The purse for Bounty Bonanza stands at €6,000 – courtesy of the 600x multiplier at the highest bet of €10. (Do note that the amount would be €13 if you used the Extra Bet feature.)
Conclusion
This is a super simple game that focuses on Free Spins and collecting bounties. It doesn’t claim to be anything more than that, and it does the job in style. It’s a good-looking game that rocks on mobile devices and has a stunning RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate..
But – and you know where I’m gonna go with this – that max win is lame. So dressing this game up and throwing sprinkles on it doesn’t change the fact that you won’t make a great deal of money on this game. If that doesn’t phase you, then play on.
