As far as controls go, they are all neatly located at the bottom of the reels. From left to right is the Buy a Bonus button with the Menu icon below that expands to the Bet, Sound, Language, Auto Start and Risk Game Settings, Home, Full-screen, and Paytable. Next is the Credits window, adjustable Bet window, Win window, Auto Start button, and Spin button. On either side of the reels is an adjustable Lines button.

The features in #buyBonus of Maya include the Mayan Coin that acts both as a Wild and Scatter that triggers the Free Games Feature, the Buy Feature, and the Gamble/Risk Feature.
The Mayan Coin Wild Scatter as a Wild substitutes for all symbols to form potential winning combinations.
As a Scatter, you need to land 3 Mayan Coin Wild Scatters to trigger the Free Games Feature, awarding 10 free games. Typical to a book-style mechanic, a random symbol will be selected for you when spinning the symbol wheel. This symbol will act as a special symbol in the feature. Every time 2 or 3 special symbols land, they will expand and fill the reel awarding a payout. The feature can be retriggered when landing 3 more Mayan Coin Wild Scatters.
After each win, you have the opportunity of selecting the Risk button that pops up to play the Gamble/Risk Feature. Here you will have to choose a Red or Black game or Card Dealer Game. If the flashing card lands on the colour you selected in the Red or Black game, you will double your win. If not, you will lose everything. In the Card Dealer game, if the card that is revealed is higher than the dealer's card, you win double, if not, you will lose.
If you don't have the patience to land the Free Games Feature, buy it via the Buy a Bonus button for 88x your stake.

Performance
#buyBonus of Maya is essentially a book-style mechanic slot, except for not having the word 'Book' in the title and the Mayan Coin instead of being the Book Symbol. The design, animation, and graphics are great. The volatility is high and RTP is not known at this stage.

Conclusion
I personally feel it is a bit lame to offer another book-style slot in 2020 without adding something that we haven't seen before. There is absolutely nothing new here except for the book symbol, not being a book. You can still land some decent wins in #buyBonus of Maya, as all book-style mechanic slots have proven. Having said that, I have found a fascinating book on the Mayan Culture that I haven't seen before, so yay me!
