I grew up in South Africa, so I’ve met many a cheeky monkey. From baboons to Vervet monkeys, those little buggers are everywhere. Before writing this, I was trying to figure out what type of primate a baboon actually is and, as per usual, google yielded some strange results. Turns out they’re part of a family of primates called “Old World Monkeys.” Now, to the uninitiated like myself, that kind of sounds like they dress up in 15th century noble attire and prance around. To be fair, I’ve never surprised a baboon in the wild (they’ve only surprised me in my house), so that could actually be the case.

Gameplay

Cheeky Monkeys is a 5-reel, 10-payline video slot powered by software from Booming Games. Join this troop of friendly looking primates on an adventure through the jungle. Symbols include male orangutans (the ones with the big faces), albino gorillas, and chimpanzees, as well as limes, bananas, pineapples, and coconuts. The wild is represented by tropical flowers, a really cute gorilla acts as the scatter, and gibbon monkeys are the interacting symbols (more on that soon).
